Hi Tor - that's the Slingshot WF-2 board. Thanks for checking out our video. Hopefully you subscribed to our channel and follow us on Instagram @halflifet.5 Cheers, tim
Hey Steve -- George is on the 90cm mast. However, for behind the boat we'd recommend the 46cm mast. He has the 90cm to go with a slingwing and to SUP foil. In those circumstances it can be nice to have additional mast length to be more forgiving and to pump. With the power of the wake, 46cm mast length is plenty.
@@donnymartin2483 Yes -- As soon as we get the right conditions on Lake Washington we'll be hitting the water with one. Hopefully within the next couple of weeks.
This is behind a nearly unweighted Ski Nautique at 10mph. I use two 70lb dumbbells to balance the boat for skiing. But in this case I put them on the side of the foiler. The foil wing in this video is a Phantasm 926. But I get similar results from the Quantum 100. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-by5prhySZII.html
I am 240, same surf board but the 74wing. I can not get up! Please show an instructional video about starting! Our 24mast is at zero and in the A position. Help! Get right up and surf well with the wing off. Arghhh
Hi Bob -- have you watched our video - studio.ru-vid.comOMkCGHFs6Dc/edit. It outlines how to get up. Are you currently attempting to get up on the first wave or the second? You may want to try the second wave with a full length rope. Have the driver hit it very slowly and get up similarly to when you wake surf. Please check out our how to get up video and get back to us on whether you're learning on the first or second wave. You'll get it - hang in there.
Can you tell us something or maybe do a video about moving the mast forwards - more lift I guess - does it make it easier to pump? I'm on the 84cm and it's awesome for lift and stability but I guess the goal is to get back to the 76 cmwhen my pumping is better as it's more agile?
You bet - we can do that. We'll try to get a video out before the weather turns. As you move down in foil size you'll get more responsiveness in terms of turn radius. That said, the 84cm glides so well that you can focus solid big turns as well as transitions on the second wave. So I wouldn't think of getting back to the 76cm as a goal. Work to make the most out of the 84cm and then utilize the 76cm to make more severe/quick turns. Make sense?
Hi Serialcrasher -- In this video it's the 61 cm mast. That said, we've found 46cm to be the best all around wake foil mast because you don't really need to pump much other than wake transfers but if you do the tranfers right - it doesn't take much pumping at all. Let us know what your favorite mast length is and where you primarily foil. Take care!
Right on! You may want to consider getting a 46cm mast as well. Especially if you haven't foiled before. Do you know which brand you're looking at? If it's Slingshot, getting that second mast is relatively inexpensive and you'll be glad to have it.
