I love those little plastic silicone pieces. Had a bunch of them for my Nalgene bottles when I was teaching after pouring water on my face mid-sentence.
I’ve had my two Owalas for about 4 years and wash them in the dishwasher all the time with no problems and no fading. I’ve had an Iron Flask for about 2 years & same thing. :)
I googled best disney water bottles and didn't find anything that was "right", then came straight to your channel and KNEW you would have this video! Thank you for your tips 🥰
lol. The lid is 2 parts, so the top part can be used as a Handle when walking about. You close it down to secure even more tightly. I would just carabiner that handle. Thanks for watching/commenting!
This is informative and very much so. The first water bottle I bought when I got my job at the university (yearly highs in 90s and long walks) was similar to the Contico but had a straw. It would flip open whenever you didn't want it to. I love the plastic flip-ups that have a straw and you flip open with your thumb. Now.... I am considering a video on heat safety in theme parks. I know it's been covered quite a bit but I want to offer a few insights I learned when I was hiking. My question; what do you do if you want to carry 1/2 or 1 liter of water in a container but not in your hands? I see so many vbloggers thinking they can hustle to a water fountain or Starbucks (VERY bad idea to have caffeine when in the near hundreds in FL) and not carry their wa-wa. But they don't want to have a canteen belt, etc.
I personally refill my water as often as I can and ask for water when near a dining location. I only drink water in the high heat. I have seen people with water backpacks (used for hiking). I pack 2-3 waters to start in smaller amounts as I can NOT carry a gallon of water or even a 40+oz bottle while at the parks. Its just too much to carry and gets heavy. So I go for 24+ ounces and refill. Thanks for watching/commenting!
Do you have a video on water bottle filling stations in the park!? If not that would make a great video! Thank you so much for all your time and effort and research for these videos!!! ❤
I've been using a 40oz Hydroflask with straw lid for the last few trips. Thankfully Disney has been adding more bottle filling fountains, but I carry a collapsible cup to make it easier to fully fill from a standard water fountain. I attach it to the strap of my bag with a heroclip carabiner. (if you haven't seen heroclip, it's worth checking out) I am looking for a belt holder like cast tends to use to make it even easier to access and allow easy carry if I go without park bag. I do add hydration mix to my water. I go at 50% (or a little less) of the recommended water to powder ratio. I prefer DripDrop
This was an awesome video. I have to try the filtered pods cause yes the Florida Water we had during our visit to Disneyworld was a No Bueno 🤢. Disgusting, I'm gonna have to try this Filtered Pods when we go back this November and put it to the test.
I have a hard time with Tervis, I think I don't like the drink flow if that makes sense but I love the cups, so many awesome choices. We have several actually. Thanks for watching/commenting!
