I just turned 44. I have PCOS and my endocrinologist said my thyroid is as active as a 90 year old. Needless to say loosing weight is tough. When I saw my endocrinologist a couple of months ago he noticed that I lost over 20 pounds since I started seeing him 3 years ago. He said he's very impressed considering all the obstacles I face medically. Even though the scale doesn't move often I do feel a difference in the clothes I wear. Thank you to you PJ as I've been training with you for over a year and this is where most of my weight loss and muscle gain has come from.

P.J. I am 61 going on 62 in December. I have been doing aerobic exercise for nearly 40 years , started September 18th 1983. Been doing 4x/ week ( or more exercise) I too, am MUCH fitter now than I was in my 30's. Mostly thanks to you. 💜💙💚💖💛🐧Michele in Yokohama

Go Melanie! I am definitely fitter than in my 30's too. I found to lose the last bit of belly fat that I wanted to lose (I still have some) I had to combine quality (grass fed) high protein diet with low starch veggies (brocolli, asparagus, squash etc) and IF. I also upped my weights and exercise. And like pj said it's hard work and i only did it because I'm off on holidays. 🥰

Dearest PJ, I have just discovered you on YT and I absolutely ADORE your workouts. I am about to turn 45 and I have been exercising on and off for the last 8 years. Your workouts are so well balanced, yet challanging, have great structure and are easy to follow. You are funny, knowledgeable and soooo real. I even like your breathing :))) it reminds me to breathe as well. start at 2:00 in a hurry? basically lift weights but heavier over time to break down the muscle and let it rebuild stronger and more dense, plus get more protein

Aged 54 Melbourne Australia, switched to chobani no fat yoghurt plain (high protein, high calcium), 30-60min dumbells upper body. Hours of hill walking daily. Definitely aging needs to be embraced else chasing an unrealistic unreasonable picture. Goals are strength, to be strong; muscles and bones. Good lungs, cardiovascular system. Enjoy outdoors listening to podcast radio audiobooks while walking.

Morning PJ. Sharon Chapman with Restoring Cores. I do Just As Wednesday…….kind of like what you are doing. I cover 6 decades of people but started with a curriculum for men and women over 50 that combines strength training, Pilates, functional movement cardio. I’ll be 66 in January and shaped like a 30 year old drill sergeant. I love your channel. P. S. A wonderful way of calming down cellulite is through Pilates. We move connective tissue. It gets better……… Keep it up!

I love your workouts and personality! I need to lose about 10 lbs. I'm 65 and have a hard time making myself count calories and eat the right portions. It seems after doing this all my life my desire is waning! But I do enjoy your workouts and your stretches!!!

Hi ,i recently saw your video, I'm 42 and never worked out ,but I'm very active and walk for 30mnts every alternate day. I want to lose fat and built muscles ,show me simple exercises and the most important thing is i cant lift weight , I'm a high glaucoma and retina detachment patients,my opthalmologist strictly asked me to not lift any weight and do head below waist exercises.please help me

I have just turned 72 ( today) I am the heaviest weight I have ever been. I am disgusted with myself for getting like this. The heavier I get the more lazy and lethargic I feel. I have an underactive thyroid which has made it very easy to put on weight and hard to lose it. I also have a minor heart condition that makes high impact anything impossible. My waist is 40 ins and round my tummy I am 45 ins, I am carrying a lot of visceral fat which I want to lose before I become diabetic. I have a large appetite and my failure to lose weight is due to the fact that I can't control hunger. I live in the UK but I am in a holiday apartment for the next three weeks with nothing else to focus on. I just don't know where to begin, but I have started a food diary to get some idea of what cals I consume. Exercise wise, I guess I will starr my walking, but beyond that, do you have an easy beginner plan I can start with and then build from there?

Hi, its my day 4 of trying your workouts. I am an avid gymmer but now at 45 ( hypothyroidism) i feel muscle soreness even after lifting very light. Today i did back and chest day#4 and my body is sore again. I take adequate protein, supplements,calorie deficit but find this consistent muscle soreness a big hindrance to my strength training routine. Can you please guide how to proceed? I do enjoy 10000 steps , yoga (1.5hrs) or swimming on days i am unable to lift weight. I find your workouts apt for my current age just hope you can give me a few tips for recovery and soreness. I have hypothyroidism and I've been working out for 2 years now. And I am getting in Moscow but I can't lose fat so what am I doing wrong? I tried to eat right but I am hormonal going through the change of life though it's very hard and I don't sleep good at night neither sometimes. I do and sometimes I don't.

65yo sedentary a lot, bad back, vegetarian, don’t need to lose weight however have very little muscle mass.how can I build muscle and add protein without meat , soy, or beans? Also, which of your video regimen can help me.

So in the last few months I have felt like my body is deteriorating and I’m going backwards. I can’t do cardio as long and I winded easy. I believe I’m headed into menopause and I just want to know if it’s always going to be like this or if it gets better. I’m clawing my weight to get a pound off

I know it would be very hard for me to sustain a six pack abs but all I want to do is lose the last little bit of stomach fat that's all I want gone it doesn't have to be a six pack but I just want to have a flat tummy without something sticking out you know? LOL But when it comes to proteins everyone says that animal-based proteins better quality I eat both animal and plant-based proteins but when it comes to the plant proteins which ones are as good as animal proteins? Beans,, grains,, nuts seeds? "though we can't eat as much nuts and seeds as we want" Tofu tempeh? Which of these plant proteins is the best for health and building muscle and burning belly fat?

@@FitnesswithPJ oh cool yeah definitely I also have osteoporosis so I need to increase my protein intake not only to build muscle but to also help feed my bones on a budget it's more affordable to eat plant-based proteins than animal proteins like high quality meat, so I depend a little more on plant proteins, where do I submit my question about proteins and which ones are better?

Until you can’t 😊 For most of us it will be because our grip strength isn’t there for heavier dumbbells. IE I have maxed out my squats (if I want to keep training at home) because my grip can only hold onto 2-40lb dumbbells.
