best way to calm your dog during fireworks on the 4th of July  

Get a couple box fans and turn then on high. It helps drown out the noise and makes it less scary. I have 3 dogs and its does wonders for them.

The only thing that worked on my rescue husky who has since passed away was youtube relaxing music for dogs. He had severe thunderstorm anxiety and would literally urinate and defocate right away. Good Luck!

The harness works really well

I just spent the evening in the laundry room with my big buddy. This year he got Trazadone and Calm for Dogs. Discovered Sofiane Pamart which made me feel better, plus some tequila for me . . . We made it, but the bombs are still going off. Also sounded like my car was blown up a few times. I better check.

Definitely keep the scared pups indoor. It was the biggest time of year I saw stray dogs was the week after the 4th of July. 😢

This is me every time there is thunder. I set up a canvas pet carrier and a box fan in my walk in closet. And since my closet is behind my bathroom I also turn on the bathroom vent fan. Then she hides in the pet carrier and we sit there in the dark while the sound of the box fan and vent fan drown out the noise from outside.

This year, I can't do the fireworks. I live in a town no fireworks are allowed, and it's actually great for my dogs, bc ZERO stress
