This is a video I totally wish I had a month ago while I was doing this exact job! Totally subscribing. This past fall, I found a 1978 Sachs Balboa for sale that wasn't working, and over the winter, I've brought it back to life in my friend's shop. I bought it because the engine had compression and I thought it was so cool that the vin plate said 'Made in Nuremberg, West Germany 1978.' I never knew vintage mopeds had such a large community around them until I got to work restoring it!

Weer wat geleerd; beginnen en eindigen bij het ventiel. Lifehack: beetje talkpoeder om de binnenband te voorkoming van plakken van de binnenband .

Mit Kabelbinder mach ich das immer,,, Schlauch in den Mantel, vorher Kalken 😉👍🏻 Kabelbinder drum, so kann der Schlauch nicht flüchten 😉🤣👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Do not use inner tire larger then the outer tire says, if you do, you risk when inflating pushing the outer tire out of round. Also the inner side of the wheel of most Puch and tomos is not made for inner tires larger then 2.25 When you inflate it. Use tire lube to make the assembly easier and for the outer tube to more easily " set " itself when you inflate. 3 bar is good no more

Als ik zo de stand van het achterwiel zie ten opzichte van het spatbord zit het wiel er in de lengte richting scheef in,dat ken ik ook al jaren en waarom zijn sommige achterbruggen scheef? Is dat een fabrieksfout? Ik heb in de jaren al meerdere achterbruggen gericht zodat het wiel ook daadwerkelijk recht zit ten opzichte van het frame cq achter spatbord. Je merkt het ook meteen bij het rijden en banden slijtage.

Achterspatbord buig je makkelijk om dit zorgt altijd voor gezichtsbedrog.

Was mir aufgefallen ist: Man sollte doch auf die *Rotation* , des Reifens , Laufrichtung, achten . Der Pfeil auf dem Reifen gibt die Laufrichtung nach vorne vor! Dies gilt aber nur wenn man einen Pfeil auf dem Reifen hat. Sonst ist das egal!
