hey i have a couple questions to ask man, so first question. im about to turn 16 and as soon as i do im gonna go do my cbt after that can i get a ym50? and the other question is, is your bike restricted and if it isn’t do you go on the highway in the uk since the spped limit is 60-70mph while the ym50 only goes to 40 right??
Hey! Yes once you do your CBT you can ride the YM50. My bike was not de-restricted to start with but I did de-restrict it later on. Because of that, I did not take it on the highway, as it would be dangerous. Also you are not allowed to take a 50cc / ride on L plates on the motorway.
Haven’t had any problems yet, had a time the bike wouldn’t start but that ended up being from a flat battery which is normal so wouldn’t really class that as a problem.
