So I water every lettuce every 2-3 days .. lettuce needs more water than normal plants , if your soil is damp , definitely skip a couple days.. if you start seeing your soil turning green. It means too much water cut back for a couple days ...

how long do you harvest the outer leaves before the lettuce bolts for the summer or flowers? What's the life span on lettuce? How long can you continue to harvest before they become inedible?
So most lettuce plants could last all spring , but soon as the weather hits in the 70s they bolt, you could harvest about 4-5 times on a plant , however these Romanie Lettuce are a bit tuffer and could last a longer time ..
