Preferably you’d want to stack up like 50 fossils and then spam A while watching something then once you’ve run out you’d check the Pokedex for a shiny (Pokedex shows different forms including shiny; press the left arrow button). Then you SR if you don’t get a shiny.
Goddamn, I wasn't keeping track of mine, but I'd estimate around 2000, still my only successful "hunt" the others I've stumbled upon in raids or while EV training lol
Question. Did you only do 5 fossils at a time and reset then keep repeating? I just wanna make sure I don’t have to have all new fossils and that the fossils I restore and rest will not be the same
So that's a roughly 3-second save per hunt, which would have actually saved me about 7 hours!! Although in the scheme of things, taking 8,516 restorations.... that would have taken maybe a day of hunting out of my weeks-long hunt.
I got all of them shiny. I got Arctozolt and Dracozolt relatively quickly. Dracovish and Arctovish wanted to be stubborn though. Dracovish after about 9000 revives and Arctovish after 6938. I'm glad it's over and I never have to do it again.
Homura Akemi can I soft reset the game to hunt these Pokemon. I’m hunting dracovish and only have 31 of them and I’ve been soft resetting without 100% knowing if it works

What up mayne, did two fossil hunts already. I got my dracovish at 1893 very lucky and my dracozolt at 4737 with no turbo. Only one switch no double hunts. Gonna do the other two later on
I remember how pong it took me for my Shiny Mewtwo in Pokemon Ultra Sun. A solid month and I bet around 20,000 Soft Resets. I ended up getting a Shiny Day 2 around 1000, but it had a Lax Nature. So I soft resetted, cried, and got a Timid one after a month. Thank you Abra for not Synchronizing the nature over the first time...
Jason Sharpless bro I feel it. I usually hunt with shiny charm odds. I don’t mind a full odds hunt but even with that shiny charm RNG can be a real b****! Good luck on your future hunts mate

@@OfficialPlay_J I'm a shiny hunter/competitive battler. And I have 3 Shattered Shinies from eggs! My Obstagoon (My new favorite Pokemon) named Rotanivals, My Female Passimian named Julia, and my Solrock named Solaire. And I have 17 shinies since I got the game on Christmas. Including a Shiny Cramorant in 5 eggs, and a Dragapult in around 200. But the Obstagoon took around 2000 eggs, but hella worth it as my first hatched Shattered Shiny.
So basically you have to lose the fossils for a chance and then keep grabbing more with the brothers? Or you guys soft reset when it doesn't come shiny?
So normal odds at 1/4096 - fossils 50 each for every 100k per say that takes about 45 minutes to collect from the digging duo, so in theory it’ll take 10m to dig up fossils and 50 hrs plus to make? That can’t be right

No cap, I just got my shiny Dracovish in *18 RESTORATIONS!* It had Water Absorb and Rash nature so I’ll have to mint and capsule it but still great I’m confused by my own luck sometimes now, the other day I got a full odds shiny Gallade trying to escape one in the Wild Area.
ok so from what i get,you turn off the sound effects and when you get a fossil and its not shiny AND you run out of fossils you reset the game without saving
if you have a gamecube controller for smash and the adapter, there is a turbo button on most of gc controller adapters, press the turbo button and use ur gamecube controller and add something that weight enough to press the A button instead of a turbo controller thats for farming digging duo and fossil restoration, gl!
