In this video we build a backyard mountain bike drop so Katie can practice her drop skills at home! We found that repetition is one of the best ways to master a skill, so with her very own drop she can work on her technique any time she wants. In this video we build a drop out of old pallets, Nick shares some tips about hitting drops, and Katie gets some practice runs in! 🚵‍♀️

Thanks! That’s rad! Building this little drop has inspired us to start building some more stuff again. It’s always a fun time building stuff at home. Thanks for watching Tyler! 🤙

Been working on my mental state before a drop more and more and it’s definitely a slow process. But progress is progress.

Exactly! There is always a way to get to that next level and sometimes just focusing on the basics can make things click. We find it best to get our mental state dialed in on smaller stuff and then scale it up as we feel comfortable. Thanks for your comment and thanks for watching! 🤙

X-Cell-Ent... Try this.... Roll through... same pace... do NOTHING but a push down on the bars so the front is rebounding as it leaves the lip. I just (finally) published a vid of me playing around with drops and found this not only extremely simple.. but worked even on a near 1m drop to flat (all in the vid). You don't need to push on your feet (sometimes it can't be helped... but it may actually be too much and you land on the read. (Front or both wheel landing is preferred) Definitely DO NOT pull on the bars, Thumbs uo!.

This is definitely something that I want to learn and improve on. I consider myself very Poppy rider if you know what I mean, I definitely like to bunny hop and pop off drops which for some drops but I want to learn how to carry speed off drops rather than pop and bottom out.
