Thanks for all what u are doing, i would like to ask you a very serious question that led the deportation of many international students. my question is: is trading stocks regularly and on a daily basis ( day trading) prohibited while on a student visa in the UK , if day trading stocks is prohibited ( because it could be considered as a business activity) so what about Forex and Indices SWING trading ( which is trading like once a week and exicuting 2 to 3 trades a months in the forex market ( not the stock market) which can't be an investment. i have heared about many friends getting deported because of day trading even if the rules are not clear in the government website.

Hey, as per what the statement he made, it doesn't affect anyone who's already here on a visa so the old rules would apply if you already have a spouse visa. And Ashoka was an ancient Mauryan Emperor of Magadha in the Indian subcontinent during c. 268 to 232 BCE

@@AbsolutelyAshika Not really, I went to the UK Gov's website and shockingly wasn't listed there... so I did some research and found out it's more of a clever use of sponsor licence and skilled worker visa. Apparently, the AYJ team came up with this workaround; this could be true given their first instance dates back to 2019, which was unheard of at the time.
