Hi, if I connect my firestick pro max directly to the q990b soundbar can I still get Dolby Atmos output via netflix/prime video if the video output is to a 1080p screen or projector?
Hi Josh, have you ever watch movies with wireless headphones such as Sony WH 1000XM4, or XM5? Does this headphones will bring Dolby Atmos sensation like what will we hear from Soundbars? I'm considering this since i live in small house and don't want to bother my neighbors. Thanks
No I haven't but If you were to try it woud have to be through a PC as it supports Atmos through headphones. One of the downsides would be that you have to have a cable run to the pc from the headphones. Might be worth a try though if you've got a PC. Cheers Benny
Cheers Rodney 😄 I purchased the screen for $150 in pretty much brand new condition and it retails for $1329, so that was a steal. It''s a ComteVision 16:9 Motorised CE Screen and works super well. The projector I got from a friend and is a little older at this point but was a top of the line panasonic cinema projector from about 10 years ago. It's 1080p and the colours are great! Super happy with the setup.
Thanks Henry. Yeah that would be awesome! Physical rear speakers are so much better than virtual surround sound. If you really wanted a sub out you could pair the Sonos ARC with the Sonos Amp as that has a sub out. Probably a little too late now but worth a thought. You could even run you own set of rear speakers through the amp.
@@archwaytech can you do a review how to do that if it’s possible and when you have time send me a link so I could see what you’re talking about? Thanks 🙏
@@HPMIKE55 I don't have an amp available to show you but it's super easy to do... You pair the Sonos Amp and ARC in the app and the Amp has a sub out port which will detect when a sub is plugged in. The Amp also has 2 speaker outputs which you can connect your own in ceiling speakers or bookshelf speakers and in the app you can set them as rear speakers. So if you already have a wired sub then you'd just have to buy the ARC, Amp and ones or your own wired rear speakers. I have some shots of the amp in this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ScgqVaItq4Q.html
Nope, best way to watch top gun maverick, is screen X, At regal movie theater or Imax movie theater, because Tom Cruise used this cameras for best experience.
