Amazing! I'll keep these notes for when I need to work with other editors. I'm currently working remotely but am the only editor, I basically just need to send video drafts for review and upload final files to the office server. Also, beautiful office! Immaculate. That natural light must feel nice.
Home office. :) it's partly natural and partly ligthing for the video. I wanted to do something else than the normal dark yt-studio look. The next video migt be more useful for you. Maybe. :) I'll make it public tomorrow.
Dropbox works great for my needs, basically just sending finished files to clients. I do wish there was a way to connect it to an external hard drive but being able to smart sync files kind of makes up for that.
Can you edit with smart sync files? That would be cool. Google drive has the same smart sync feature, but you can't work with the files without downloading them.
@@JooWorks Unfortunately, no. :/ Like I said, it's great for sending finished [or raw files] but not really for editing. Even if your OS drive is big enough, it's still faster to edit from an external drive.
We’ve been using Dropbox for 3 years and have it mounted on our external hard drive. It works great! But looking for something where it eliminates having to download from the cloud (I don’t know if that’s even possible).
