Thank you again. Questions. At the 1:20 Mark you mention to set the scope to 20V DC scale for recording and reviewing the signal. Then at the 1:27 Mark you mention to set the scope to 1V or .5V AC coupled scale for live viewing. Then after during the live demo the scope was on Auto scale. Can you please explain purpose and benefits of why the higher voltage scale and no AC coupled for recording versus the lower scale and AC coupled for live reading. Why would you need to AC couple a DC digital signal?

You would want to a/c couple the signal to watch it live without zooming in. You can keep the scope on auto if you want, or you can set your scope up manually. You can use these techniques with any scope. Giving the voltage ranges just helps with setting up your personal device. Thanks for watching!

Why not measure it against battery positive on a 2 v scale? That’s much better, But the scope needs to be full differential. And a bad explanation on how this sensor really works. Signal can also be on the ground.
