Adventure Motorcycle Traveller
Hi, I'm Ben King, 24 years old from London. I left the UK in August 2017 and have spent the past few years riding my Honda CRF250L motorcycle 35,000kms overland from my home in London to Pakistan, and I still have a very long way to go as I attempt to ride across every single continent in the world!
I'm currently back in England while I wait for this global pandemic to end, and as soon as I am able too I will fly back to Pakistan to continue my world bike trip!

Just found you the other evening. This one was interesting to see how people find travel with these different approaches. I've met 2-up couples that often couldn't take technically challenging routes, another riding alone seemed to avoid going too remote. My brother & I took 2 XT600E through Africa in 1995/6. There were certainly times when having a bike that wasn't broken was a help. Our interest was bird watching so having 2 of us was good for a second opinion on indentifying tricky birds. I think at that stage in my life it was helpful to have a second person, we each gave the other confidence. Splitting the load was great because there were times we travelled pretty light. If doing it now at the age of 53 & I wasn't married, or only going for a few months, I'd prefer to go alone probably with only very vague planning, letting fate & experiences shape the trip. I'd take a much lighter bike, like a CRF if doing it again. Thanks for your story.

Hi! Plans for when you get at your trip mate? :D Been prep for a trip from Norway to New Zealand, on a Yamaha xt660z Tenere, but im thinikng of getting the Honda CRF300L and rig that for the trip. So much ligther then the Tenere 660. I have to see your videos again, but did you uograde your suspension? Would love to have a chat with you some day if you have time :D And i realy hope you get back on the road sooon! Been waiting for your videos :D Brilliant channel! Best regards, Michael, Norway.

How do you manage oil changes on crf250. Honda state 600mile change. I was going to get a 460l but I wonder how people do large overland trips when you need a litre of oil less than every 1000miles.

@@TheKingOnTheRoad dude I will be using my 2019 Arica twin crf1000l. It was a hard decision to make which bike I like riding the most and this just ticked all the boxes. Will be doing UK tours first then Spain, Morocco. Hopefully idea is in a few years time. Like you say we are in uncertain times sadly. Being a Pakistani national and having a second home in Pakistan means I can also get to see Pakistan as a whole. Its all I want to do now. Slowly planting the seed for family approval lol. You have been great, always smiling and a pleasure to watch and learn from. Im sure like me you will inspire many and give those wondering souls the reassurance on safety.
