Best way to use Powerbait on Kings River 

I decided to try my luck again at Kings River. I started at Winton Park and worked my way quickly up to Pineflat Dam. I spoke with a few anglers and they didn't even get a bite all day. After no success with the jerkbait and 2" swimbaits I decided to try my luck split shotting a small piece of powerbait and finally caught a Rainbow Trout.

Weight: #2 split shot
Hook: size 14 red circle hook
Bait: Powerbait garlic scent
