Me and my friend inverse TP’d in and exited through the Fire Exit on Rend. I took the items, and went for the ship, while he left for the main entrance… How come he showed up at the shop first and I showed up at the main entrance???
If you just follow the canyon out and immediately turn left on exiting the canyon (left assuming you're walking straight down the middle of the canyon away from the fire exit) you'll hit main entrance, so that's a good garunteed setup if you're not confident (or actually want to go main like fire being a dead end/locked in/luring a monster there)
I've run fire rend hundred of times, it's very easy. to get to rend just go straight out the door until you see a hill, cut through the right side, follow the crack in the ground and go down as soon as you see the lamppost in the distance. too early and you'll hit a kill trigger in the canyon rocks, too late and you'll end up close to main
The Assurance Speed Jump to Fire can be done without Fall Damage - just jump on the edge of the ship before jumping to the rock - all one big full W, right as the ship door opens. (sometimes you land on the edge so be sure to keep running and jumping until you are on stable flooring) - on returning from Fire, if you want to try and avoid worms/dogs as much as possible and are okay with going slow, you can walk along the pipe for awhile until you can small jump onto a rock, climb it, jump onto the gas truck and continue forward over rocks, and down through the Icecream Ship landing spot.
on experimentation you can access the fire exit from the floor below the actual door, on the railing. only saves like 2 seconds but kind of a neat trick. It can also be done inside the facility if the fire exit is right above some stairs
If you jump along the outside of the ship on assurance similar to how you showed on offense, you can be low enough to where you wont take fall damage doing the skip, super useful for solo runs to have that extra hp
i dont understand how can people dislike stuff like this, you click for the title, you get the exact thing you asked for straight to the point and fast and then dislike like bruh
sometimes his explanation of how to get back can be needlessly long. ex : "wow, i did not realize that this pipe i used to go from ship to fire can....take me from fire to ship as well!"
Seeing somebody else jumping over the railing while going up flights of stairs to save time is really cool! I've been doing it for a while but I've never seen another person do it You can actually skip a flight of stairs and enter the door by looking up at the bottom of the fire exit door, it will still let you enter even if you aren't right in front of it. All you have to do is look at the bottom of the door frame and hold E. You can also do this INSIDE of facilities if the fire exit happens to be above you in a stairway. You can even use this little exploit to grab loot that's above you in staircases as well. If you see a piece of scrap above you, just jump and grab it straight through the floor. EDIT: YEEEES YOU'RE ALSO USING THE OFFENSE LADDER STRATEGY FOR THE PIPE JUMP! I'm so happy right now lol I actually didn't know about the rock climbing strategy for fire escape, very useful
On Vow, the extension ladder can be used to escape the valley, if there are enemies blocking the exit. Put the extension ladder to the left wall if you are facing the fire exit. Keep in mind you will leave the ladder behind doing this method.
On vow I believe there is a rock “parkour” spot where you can use them to jump up the slope and saves you a little bit of running all the way to the end of the valley from fire exit. I believe it’s directly to your right at 3:39
For ladder-less, jump-less offense, you can run down to the towers and climb up some particularly jagged bits of the rock that's right next to the pipe. It's pretty easy to do, I was able to get it down after just a few tries, and it's inconsequential if you fall off the rock other than just losing some time. Edit: It is very much a possibility that I may have written this comment before I was done watching the video.
a quicker way was discovered to enter main on dine, you can jump off the ship as it's landing on the moon to a nearby mountain, slide down and be at main a lot earlier than normal
For the March South FireExit route back to the ship i always go to the left, sprinting while hugging the mountain so it's even quicker than the way to it, and there's no mud to worry about
On offense, if you bring an extension ladder and have a loud horn. You can drop items onto the outside hitbox (of the loud horn) of the ship by walking along the ladder. This can allow you to play the floor (outside) is lava.
In Vow the damage you deal to bridge health is calculated based on your weight and is inflicted to bridge by you touching it. The health gets back when it's not touched. If you want to go over this bridge and never brake it no mater how heavy you are - all you need to do is walk and spam jump the entire time. It minimizes the time you spend "damaging" the bridge.
There's a shortcut on dine where you jump while the ship is moving and then follow the railings. Also dropping on titan its slightly faster to jump on top of the guide light then to the floor without taking damage
for assurance you can go on the catwalk of the silo at the end of the pipe near the main entrance and jump straight onto the platform of main without having to climb ladder you can also jump off the pipe and grab the ladder so you dont take fall dmg
update vid for dine, and vow wall jumping / other wall jumping discoveries? love the vid, its makin me go WHAT every few seconds at the start there. at least i was objectively right about offence main route. told my friends "to go under the ncdonalds arch"
5:45 if you're familiar with strafe jumping, you can strafe jump and land barely on the ship. that's keeping in mind that you dropped everything in hand prior to.
3:30 you can actually climb on top of the dam. next to the fire exit theres those appendages. you can climb by jumping and tapping W on the outter corner, very easy
On titan you can drop on the lower section of the first drop from main and you don’t need to redrop onto the stairs on the second to last jump. Stairs to ledge to big platform works just the same.
There is another way in vow to get up from the valley. It's only a little shorter though. If you follow the right wall you will see some rocks that you can parkour your way up on.
Inverse teleport is almost never a good strat for try hard high quota runs. The best method I have found for eclipsed worlds is to get a skilled jetpack pilot to double as your ship guy. The jetpack lures giants away, allowing your crew mates to enter the facility, and from there the jetpack is used to haul loot back to the ship (one hand items only) and whenever not doing this you just do normal ship duty. At the end, either TP everyone back, or distract giants and dogs again while they haul back the 2 hand items.
As a video suggestion: Can you do a short guide on jumping gaps (like does being heavier affect it/make it impossible at a certain point) or movement/navigation efficiency tricks if you have any?
mistake on vow. you can climb on the wall right the fire exit. just face the edge and jump and press W on a second. you will climb on damb and then go in safety.
whats funny, I discovered it by myself accidentaly. I go outside and dog jump on me and I jump somewhere behind and then realise that Im standing somewhere, then I try to go higher, of course I fail and die and later try more. It was like 2 mounth since its happened, it was be interesting to see how other people found it and use.@@call_me_bread
is the rock path from fire -> ship on vow slower? dont know it? from fire hug right in the ravine, until u see a not as steep path with rocks near the top. climb it
Great video! At 5:45, its actually possible to not take fall damage by sliding a bit down the side of the pipe then landing on the small hill that's there
Sadly, my CPU is weak and l get lot of stutters, jumps like in Offense are a coin flip to me but with this new method, seems l will improve my chances for that jump. Even with performance mods, no shadows, low LOD(don't think it makes difference), l still have low FPS or stutters during heavy load of visual stuff. It can be possible, to miss a jump and fall down, l just need to wait until the stutters is gone. 15:40 Placing a ladder to your left helps with moving stuff, like in ones of speedruns l saw.
@@yumm_dev l posted this on another game. Unfortunate specimen Even if turn down everything, resolution, settings, turn on potato mode, if there are lot of enemies, bam, all my stable 60FPS are gone. Noticed on recruit, at the final part of the first mission, my frames would drop below 20, lot of stuttering because lot of enemies. Try again on veteran, becasue of numerous enemies, my FPS were always low, it is unbearable. Is it the CPU's fault? l believe it is. Even on games where my GPU can run it easily, if there is smoke or too many objects or too many NPCs, my FPS were always low. GPU: AMD Radeon RX 580 2048SP CPU:AMD A10-5800B APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics
@@deadspace4755 i have an rtx 2070 super and ryzen 5 3600 and i sometimes drop to slideshow fps, especially with mods. The game just isn't super optimized
@@knyt0 Payday 2 also suffers this And you're referring to Lethal company? My only conclusion is, aside from my setup, that the game,50% or more, is because it isn't well optimized. For LC, for unfortunate specimen, payday 2 especially. As for LC, l hate that most unity games fail on the optimization part, most games l have played suffer from this part. Assuming that l am partly correct on the optimization part for having low FPS on certain or even most parts. l even have low FPS inside the ship with nothing in it, then suddenly stable, then suddenly again drop. l have 0 on shadow, 1 LOD, texture quality on 3 but l am sure texture is pointless to change. Even putting on LOD 2 or 0 doesn't change a lot. l prefer 2 so l can see the far corridors otherwise l will get scared if l suddenly look at the pop in light
What are Nighttime Spawn Deviation and the other deviations? It is the bonus points added to max power when a moon is eclipsed? That is the logical conclusion, since on this weather, everything is harder. So in theory, vow can have 2 keepers but with eclipse, it can have 3 if all checks are keepers.
Eclipsed doesn’t change power of moons. Just allows nighttime enemies to spawn and tries to spawn indoor 3 enemies every couple hours. The cap inside and out stays the same.
@@call_me_bread So what is deviation stated in the wiki? It is earlier spawns when eclipsed? To keep most situations safe, we should keep some monsters alive to keep the from spawning more? At least, with fixed power, we can easily deduced how many dangers they are. On eclipsed, that means we have fewer time inside before encountering enemies, so the window of opportunity of peace is less? The extra enemies also stack when you take out the apparatus? meaning more enemies possible?
@@call_me_bread About swimming, how long can you stay under water? Could be safe to swim in some parts or we should be afraid of flooded maps? Related with fire exits since they lose their value if it is flooded, not every moon
