As a Nigerian I’ve been eating suya my whole life. But I couldn’t fathom it being put into a burger. HUGE props to this restaurant for taking risks with such a rich cuisine. Now excuse me while I book a flight to STL 😂
I also am nigerian but I sadly can't eat suya like everyone else because of my peanut allergy which is quite sad and whenever I go back home I'm always called bad luck
Nice an owner who is willing to put himself out there is someone who cares. If you care, you probably put enough care in your food to not get trashed on. ChimeTime 9/10 complains because people just grab raw ingredients unseasoned, heats them, and then sells them with zero effort put into crafting a recipe.
We are known for really hot foods in Nigeria and we love it...there was nothing wrong and also you picked dishes that were spjce based...Asun saice and Ayamashe are pepper based sauces but theyrr really nice and Ayamashe is not meant to be eaten alone but with rice...asun can be eaten alone with any drink of your choice....the food looks good eventho i didnt try it, i recommend it just based off the look and description. Good job Chime
🇬🇭 🇳🇬 here and have lived in both countries. Nigerians in particular love very spicy anything compared to say Ghana, Ivory Coast or Gambia. If Ghana and Nigeria have the same or similar dish, best believe the Nigerian version will be spicier. 😂 Love my 2 countries ❤
Please do 🇰🇪kenyan cuisine.. swahilivillage ( Nyama choma, Samaki wa kupaka, pilau,Ugali, chapatti and kales)and more African cuisine from different countries.
My brother and I were visiting my parents in Dakar and were sitting down to eat something with millet couscous. My brother and I locked eyes as we simultaneously took a first bite and telepathically said this is sand. By the time we started to chew we couldn't stop giggling. Millet is west African for sand. No amount of sauces or gravy can change that.
Y’all that don’t know… That’s even just the tip of iceberg when it comes to the sweet dishes we got here in Nigeria, tell them you want to eat hot soft pounded yam or hot fufu and egusi soup next time then you’ll finally realize you’re eating the real food that you were created to eat… We no de carry last 🇳🇬
