I’ve had the Roborock Dyad Pro for around 2 years (granted only moderate use, at best once a week), and it’s still going strong.

Your Tineco should kick in automatically into drying mode after the self cleaning session. You're saying yours doesn't? In all cases, I did find the Roborock better in the drying experience; I prefer a more silent drying (even if it's slightly longer in duration) than the loud one of Tineco. Also; you don't need to go back to the machine and start the drying a second or third time as with the Tineco; you just start self cleaning on the Roborock, and you know it'll dry completely afterwards by itself.

@@RawansReviews There are 2 drying modes: - one as part of the self cleaning (push the droplet button) - a dedicated one (push the button with the funny dots for 3 seconds) Only with the dedicated one does it really get dry.

@scfan7231 ah-yes correct. And that was one of main gripes with the Tineco and why I picked the Roborock: you need to run the design session at least twice to get it fully dry, whereas with the Roborock you don’t.

You're right--purely from a drying perspective and in absolute value, the Tineco is better. I chose the Roborock in that category because of the whole experience; I (personally) would prefer a more silent 30 minutes over a quite loud 11 minutes. Also, you would need to go back to the machine and manually trigger the process at least twice (or 3 times if you want to run drying a third time). But with Roborock, you just trigger it once and you know it will be dry at the end.

@@RawansReviews have you seen an option to control the machine remotely from the app? I’m assuming it comes with an app to customize a cleaning cycle.

@@RawansReviews also, how do you find the dryness / ability to suck up as much water as possible between both the tineco and Roborock? I have a floating board floor so unfortunately it’s not ideal if the machine leaves behind too much water.

Are you talking about Roborock? If so yes you can trigger the drying or cleaning via the app if you want to. You can also schedule it to start at a particular time or day. Regarding leaving streaks, I’ve found both do a good job at not leaving much water or streaks on the floor. Possibly a very slight edge to Roborock.

Fair point. Though a lot of bacteria and viruses are killed at 60 degrees too, but you're right; 70 degrees is more effective and targets a wider range of virus or bacteria. I didn't look at it from the perspective of disinfection but rather of cleaning the brush roll. That's because I have my doubts about the effectiveness of disinfection here (possibly even the cleaning aspect too) because of the relatively short exposure period. So it could very well be possible that both 60 and 70 degrees are equally ineffective simply because they're not in contact with the brush long enough to be effective. But I'm no scientist--just my theory!

You're right, I should have explained a bit more there...The Tineco dirty tank is bigger, but the dirty filter in the Dreame was better... Though I probably should have highlighted the Tineco cell green for dirty water tank, for capacity at least. With the brush cleaning; the Tineco (from what it appeared) only blew hot air on the brush rather than heating water. The Dreame water was not hot enough, hence why I gave the point to Roborock. And with the drying, I chose the Roborock because it had the best effective/acoustic combination. The Tineco needs 10 minutes at high sound and doesn't even get to 100% dry.
