you sound way more convincing than established youtubers, thanks for the review cant wait to have my hands on the wheels. oh and you deserve a sub for the honest review
As an owner of the Fanatec DD Pro with boost and load cell brake I agree with you 100%. The feel of the Fanatec system “feels” like it should cost more than the actual price. Don’t tell Fanatec though lol.
Thank you! This is exactly what I was looking for. A direct comparison of the feeling between the 2 systems from someone who experienced both. Very helpful!
I LOVE watching you race!!!! Thank you for also taking the time to make awesome, useful content for the sim racing community. It’s awesome to see what your gear looks like.
I appreciate your honest comparison, I really wanted to see something like this. I had to go for the T GT II because I already had the H pattern shifter for it and I mainly drive vehicles with clutch and h pattern shifters, so to match that on the Fanatec I would have ended spending 500 dollars more between shifter and upgraded pedals. In addition, I have had bad experiences with Fanatec products in the past. Nevertheless, it was a painful decision, it does bother me because it seems that the dd is definitely a superior product, but at this point in time the thrustmaster was the right one for my budget. But I completely agree, the T GT II is overpriced and it should be in the 500-600 dollar range.
The T-GT2 is a great wheel! You have a solid, versatile set up! The DD does feel like the future but that by no means discredits the TGTs positives. Thanks for your comment x
I know it wont help you now but for anybody else in the future in this situation you can get a drivehub adapter if your on console so you can mix&match fanatec/thrustmaster/logitech wheels, pedals and shifters. If your on pc then all you need is usb adapter. The Drivehub adapter is about 90usd which isn't bad if you already have invested a lot into one eco system vs starting from scratch. I'm using one with my ps4 to run my thrustmaster t300, thrustmaster T-LCM pedals with a fanatec 1.5SQ shifter. Obviously I could have saved almost 150 had I got the thrustmaster th8 shifter but a good H shifter was important to me and the fanatec is about the best you can get in the sub 300 range. It would of cost me 200ish for thrustmaster shifter, ended up costing me 280 for fanatec shifter with usb adapter plus another 90 for the drivehub. I will upgrade to a dd wheel and heusinkveld sprint pedals at some point soon but I'm pretty satisfied with my current set up for now. Wish the pedals had more feel in the clutch and throttle but the loadcell brake is great for now and I think I can modify the clutch to feel more real and natural instead of the numb, linear feel. I'm going to add some bass shakers for gear changes, basic suspension/tire feedback and engine revs as well plus a couple small ones to mount directly to the shifter for grinding and what not and one directly to the brake pedal for abs effects, more finer details. I know with the transducers you have to prioritize what you want to feel or your just going to feel a big mess of vibrations and it will be like your on a big ol'e vibrator instead of driving a race car lol. I can't wait to get a motion platform. Dof reality h3/p3 looks great for the money. There is also the Yaw vr and yaw2 for less than 2 grand. They don't look the best for sim racing, but for just about everything else it looks like they would be pretty cool. You could actually own both a yaw vr and 3dof dof reality motion rig for under 5 grand. Lol not that it's super cheap I know but when you think about the capabilities of what they can do it's pretty neat.
@@calebwright2849 thanks for your message! I wish I had known that before, it does sound like a good option. I spent the weekend playing GT7 and I have to say I did have a blast playing with the T-GT II, I just can’t imagine how it can get better than that, I need to try the DD. Your future setup sounds really good, I also need better pedals.
Exactly, the pedals that came with TGT2 are the T3PA which is like the basic of pedals from Thrustmaster and has been around for like 8 years? to be paired with something new like the TGT2 is really a bummer. The wheel and base feel good, really good to me, but then the pedals are instead... disappointing.
I feel that you need the 8nm for it to compete. When i went to dd after my cswv2.5 i was let down testing a 5nm dd but 10nm was amazing. I felt just as much from my cswv2.5 as a 5nm dd wheel. It was stronger also then the dd wheel and almost almost as smooth bevause i mean the cswv2 5 was just the goat of belts. But the tgt2 is very close so i couldnt imsgien going to a 5nm dd and switching from a 6 to 7nm belt wheel. Ive found dd truely shoes itself at 10+nm they were clearly designed for stronger motors due to hoe fluid and smooth they are. Having less friction can trick the brain with power. Plus many of these sims were desigbed by using belt wheels so they will hsve a special feel on some titles the extra power will make up for that with dd though. Load cell is what makes you gain time much better much better. Helps so much with precision and consistency which will make you faster.
Thank you!!!! Saved me a fortune. Amazon has this interest free monthly option to pay for the Thrustmaster one so I was really going to go for it, especially with psvr 2 support for GT& looking so amazing. Glad I saw this vid. I think I would rather be patient and save up for a Fanatec
Hey man... thank you so much for the honest review.. i have a T300RS and it has just lost the FFB so i was looking at the TGT II...after your review i may go for the Fanatec DD.. keep up the great work 🙂👍🏽
Thanks a lot for this video. Everything I’ve heard about the GT DD Pro is great but the problem is they don’t ship outside of Europe except a few countries. You don’t have that problem with Thrustmaster. That needs to change especially after Fanatec being the official GT7 and F1 wheel.
Well that sucks! I'm in Australia and just ordered the DD Pro no issue but I know how you feel as most colours of Levi Jeans and certain Nike shoes (mainly flyknit versions and some Jordan's) "can't" be bought or delivered here! I don't get it as money is money, as long as you're paying the same with conversion, why would they pass up sales? If you have online friends overseas you can trust, maybe send them the cash and get them to forward the wheel to you.
@@MichaelJP I agree 💯 Although I can use my American address but it will cost a lot since it’s heavy unlike shoes or clothes. But quite frankly I don’t mind waiting ~6 months (hopefully) maybe they’ll get that fixed. Regardless I’m enjoying GT7 with the PS5 controller.
@@fahada1921 Well, luck be with you then, patience is a virtue as they say. I did the same with my 3080 GPU, but only a 3 month wait there. Can't say the same for wheel/controller though. I played through the B License test with a controller, shut the PS4 off and ordered the DD the next day. I'm happy playing a heavily modded Assetto Corsa with my TS-XW wheel until the DD gets here! 😄
Same thing here... I went for TGT2 cause we don't have official Fanatec sale's here in my country therefore Fanatec cost's at least 3 times what TGT2 cost's
@@MichaelJP I'm in Australia but couldn't find anywhere the DD Pro is decently available, in general it seems way more expensive than the T-GT II which is actually somewhat available at local stores. Where did you order your DD Pro from?
Never used a wheel before, but after finishing all the Cafe "Menus" in GT7 I decided to get one, grabbed a Logitech G29 in a sale, I know it's not as flash as some of the more expensive ones, but for a first wheel it's excellent, responsive and my lap times have dropped, well worth a look if you're a first timer, like I was. :-)
Huge congrats on the g29! It’s an awesome little thing if you are just getting started. The level of immersion you get compared to pad is next level. I’m glad you are enjoying it. I call the g29 the “gateway wheel” as its good enough to captivate you, and there’s so much room for improvement that you don’t know exists (or even know you need) that it leads to more purchases. Beware of that and enjoy to the max!
I have the GT DD Pro and have to say that the GT wheel is very underwhelming. Rubber instead of leather, the paddles feel like a toy, the d-pad is terrible, it feels cheap and nasty and is quite loud as you showed in your video. I also have the Podium series Porsche 911 GT3 R which cost me $1000 AUD and even the buttons on that feel cheap, nasty and loud. Only the paddles feel nice. In comparison the Thrustmaster Ferrari 599xx wheel I’ve had for several years, the buttons feel nice, a feel of quality and are quiet. The Alcantara still holds up after all these years. It’s just disappointing when spending so much money. Not to mention I always seem to be troubleshooting something with Fanatec. My GT DD Pro has issues which I’ve learned are quite common and I will likely have to have it replaced and hope for the best that the next one will be ok, basically like a lottery that you’ll either get a good one, or you’ll get a dud. Luckily my CSL DD is ok but honestly I’m seriously considering going back to Thrustmaster and saying goodbye to Fanatec. I hope those who are purchasing a GT DD Pro for GT7 will be happy with their purchase and hope they won’t run into any issues or the typical Fanatec problems, especially if they’re a first timer into sim racing wheels.
Thanks for the honest review! But I’m not completely agree with the fact that they have the same price. The tgt2 official price is 749€, but you can easily find it for 650€, and during the Black Friday even 619 and 589€. The dd pro ‘base’ is sold for 700 euros without the booster and without the third pedal, the complete bundle (for an equal comparison with the thrustmaster) costs 970€ plus expedition. Than the fanatec, as a direct drive, is obviously better…but you have to spend much more 😊
I am on the cusp of upgrading to a new wheel. My T500 is gasping for life. Upshifts take 3-4 taps and the wheel is loose at 12-6. Intervals are worn. I’m wanting a T-GT2 badly. I’ve got a GiveSendGo fundraiser in fact!
Great video and comparison!! Thanks for this great video. My old wheel T-GT2 and TLCM vs my just bought GT DD Pro bundle and V3. I am only surprised by your pedal opinion, as i did think that the TLCM would be better then the CSL pedals. I hope my V3 is not a mistake buy 🤣 Will have to see when the DD Pro bundle arrive
Thanks 🙏🏻 nah! They are better than the ones that come with the TGT, not the TLCMs. That wouldn’t be a fair comparison (load cell vs potentiometer). I got the exact same upgrade as you! I’m having a blast 💥 thanks for the comment x
@@localnemesis94 Yes,. Maybe you can go later on to the Direct Drive base from Thrustmaster. It was just release for Pc with 10nm torue and that is great torque. Then you have a real great set up. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-95WpdBqOTCk.html
Personally I'd go for the GT DD but with the Mclaren V2 wheel. Or the F1. Anyway, great and detailed video mate! I was waiting for this one when I first saw your stories. Good analysis and points🤙🏻
Thanks Marti! I got the mclaren v2 as well but wanted to keep this video more to the point 🤣 the mclaren rim looks awesome too. Thanks for the comment bud x
@@afons But the qr lite isnt very good, so you would have to spend 100 Euro for the qr1 even though a new qr2 is on the horizon which itself will cost 100 euro again
I have the CSL DD with the McLaren GT3 v2 wheel and I love the wheel, it's light, solid, lots of buttons, well shaped. I also bought the ClubSport RS to have a round wheel but for racing I just use the McLaren one. No problem at all with the QR lite. I have QR1 on the ClubSport wheel but the McLaren wheel with QR lite feels tight all the same.
I've bought tgt2 + tlcm for 780 eur. It's perfect, s strong and fun. Maybe fanatec is better, but i would have to pay 1150 EUR for the same configuration. Is the 370 eur difference worth it? I doubt it.
Can you give more info about that seat pad you're using does it give force feedback and what is it called? Thanks alot for the great and clear review. :)
My Playseat Alcantara racing chair cannot handle the Load Cell pedals so using the T3PA still. Its more arcady feeling and I like them better to be honest. I think I am going T-GT2 though for PS5 since I am already in the Thrustmaster ecosystem and just need the Servo base for $499. Thanks for the video!
Really cool video, I enjoyed the oldschool youtube no-fuss production - content-wise really helpful, honest and sincere. You've brought me a little bit closer to sending my G29 into early retirement. Just a little bit.
Hey! Great video! :) Will go for the DD pro, but don't know, which racing seat is the best (bc even the pricy ones aren't that good according to customer reviews). What kind of setup are you using?
Sorry it too me so long to get back (was in the literal process of changing set up). Check out my latest video where i go over my whole set up! I never came from the TM T-GT2 but from the T-150 Force Feedback witch is probably one of the lowest tiers you can get then bought the Fanatec CSL DD Pro Express version with the 8nm and WOW I love it so much. I can probably say I will be good for the next 10 years accept will upgrade to the CSL DD Load cell and maybe a couple more wheels like a Rally wheel and a F1 wheel.
Owned all major wheels (Log.Thr. And Fan! Fanatec makes Sim racing Gear. The others make Racing Toys!!! Especially the Peddles on Log. And Thr! No comparison! Good video keep it up!!
You must compare the same price products and technology my friend , to be fair , fanatec isn't perfect either, they don't sold stuff on Amazon and it's a pain when something goes wrong and it will, most of the fanatecs have problems
Tbf all sim racing gear are toys after all. Put that aside, yes Fanatec are better, but the thing is their products are not as accessible compared to the other brands, especially if you are living outside Europe/N. America/Australia
@@bratosin1 I agree Fanatec is Far from perfect. Yet I disagree on Customer Service. I have had an issue with my hand brake. Was turned around on a week. If your under a warranty period Fanatec isn’t going to block your return. Seriously i sent an email got reply same day. Was at Post office that evening. Recieved new brake by end of week. Sure it’s my experience. And I’m sure someone has just as bad an example. But I would say go by your own experiences. You obviously Don’t like Fanatec. Great. Use Thrustmaster!! I’m happy with Fanatec Family of products. As well as CS.. so best of luck and have fun!! No matter what Peripheral u use.
@@bratosin1 He didn’t even said Fanatec was perfect, you are probably jealous because you can’t afford Fanatec. But by your logic, if Fanatec isn’t perfect (of course they aren’t perfect), then thrustmaster and logitech are A LOT worse. Fanatec it’s the best simracing hardware company, there’s no discussion about it, unless you are delusional. Thrustmaster it’s like McDonald, you can buy them almost everywhere, but when you want the best top of the line experience, you go to a 3 star michelin restaurant (Fanatec). Try thrustmaster customer service, you are going to have the worst experience ever, they don’t even respond at times. With Fanatec customer service that doesn’t happen.
Thanks man. Im not even at the TGT2. Im coming off a thrustmaster T300RS that I was running on my PS4. Now Im onto the PS5 with GT Sport and waiting for GT7 so looking to upgrade. So I'm guessing either would be a good upgrade for me but based on your feelings, I'm gonna go with the Fanatec DD Pro. Ive always been told Direct Drive can't be beat anyway. Just hoping the delays with shipping aren't too bad.
@@halfbreed02 i ordered my DD Pro in November! It arrived before its original ETA! You will not be disappointed 😬 “good things come to those who wait” x
I currently have the thrustmaster t300. My issue with it is overheating. When I play GT7, I have to turn the ffb down to 4-6 torque, so not nearly as much ffb. The next issue is that whenever I turn more than 90 degrees, the wheel vibrates, and I immediately go off track. This issue makes road cars close to undrivable.
The only thing I don't like about the DD pro is it's a two pedal system. I want a clutch and gear shifter for the drifting or old skool car racing or everything to me will feel like a go kart.
You sound truly sincere. I have saved money to buy a tgt 2 with tlcm, but with your words in this video Seems like fanatec for the same price is a better choice. I love the way you talk and explain. New suscriber. Thak you!
Did the TGT have a vibration thing like those sound things you put on the rig where it would vibrate your rig or something? Have you felt it and was it translating what is happening in game to the rig well enough? Thats one thing i am really curuios about the tgt
No, just buy TGT2. Because DD Pro too smooth like you driving in bowling road, this make not realistic. In real life you driving in public road with more variation vibration. TGT2 is better and no bad plastic in wheel like DD Pro
Just bought the GT DD pro instead. I had to spend around $250 extra (with the load cell brake and a clutch, otherwise it would've been the same price as the TGT 2) but I feel like it'll be worth it.
You didn’t need to buy a clutch pedal. When you buy the load cell brake you just use the included brake pedal as the clutch. It’s the exact same equipment. Just take out the sponge.
Nice video but on the title / subject you should notify "with the BOOST KIT" (because without this kit, with the 5Nm version, the result totally different)
You are absolutely correct, I should have mentioned that. The 5nm is less than the TGT (which outputs 6nm) so I didn’t even get into it. it’s been said that the boost kit is almost essential to this bundle (I would argue even more important than the load cell initially). Due to the pedals being at least precise for games like GT, the added NM really make a huge mega difference. Thank you for reminding me though. Always willing to improve! X thanks for the comment and suggestion
So when comparing prices it is definetly also country specific. Here in SA I can get a tgt2 with the tclm for 18 000 rand VS the dd pro with load cell 42 000 rand...... Massive difference.
Hey! Congrats on the purchase! I use a “Next Level Racing GT Track”. You bolt the wheelbase onto the rig directly (it has the right pre drilled holes). So long as you build the rig properly there should be little to no movement at all. Table clamp I’ve heard works well too but you need a heavy table or you run the risk of it moving around (with the 8nm). Hope this helps and good luck! Any questions let me know 😊
I gave up on Fanatec gt dd pro, i've been trying to buy that wheel/pedals set for couple of months now and they have been sold out all that time... So today i ordered Thrustmaster tgt 2, should arrive in couple of days from now. I am sooo disappointed to Fanatec delivery problems so i think Thrustmaster will be good for me. Nice video though, thanks
That’s fair enough.. You are getting an amazing wheel regardless (and one you can actually buy 🤣). Congrats on the purchase and thanks for the comment!
@@afons got the new wheel today and i'm very happy with it.. I got new energy to grind money in GT7😎 That drivind feel is amazing, although i've never tested any Fanatec products but if it gets any better than this it must be ruined😂
I liked the rumble feature with the Thrustmaster unit it, it (imo) helped translate what was happening with the tires. Does the DD Pro translate in a similar way? Or is there just a hole in the feeling? I want the DD Pro I'm just scared it'll feel hollow. Thank you for your vid and time.
Thanks man! Yea the rumble was awesome. Unfortunately the rumble is gone for gt7 in the tgt. The DD gives detail in a more precise way. Im working on a video explaining it! xx
@GG_AFonseca I think I'm sold. I've heard it said before that there's road feel translated with the DD Pro, just in a different and more precise way. Then the upgrades. I'm starting with the 5nm and V3's. Ill add dampened and booster later.
Hi love the video, did anyone here lose power to the wheel and knows perhaps how to fix it? I recieved my TGT 2 2 days ago. Brand new. It worket for half an hour on GT7 on PS5. Than i tried dirt rally 2.0 and EA WRC. IT wouldnt work. I realised that you have to switch the GT (usb switch i believe) to OTHER for all games other than GT7. I restarted the ps5. While it was off i switched over to OTHER while i unplugged the usb. As described in the manual. Thats when it wouldnt turn on and its been sitting there. My game shop offered me a repair, im a bit turned off atm. as I've seen a lot of people with this issue on reddit and other sites. Any recommendation would be greatly appreciated. I am uploading a video as we speak. You can go have a look at how i connected it. Maybe im do8ng something wrong. I would like to crack the TGT 2 open and see for my self but that would void my warranty. Im gona try connecting to my pc maybe a software update is needed. I got one of the first ps5 that came out when the shortage was on. Maybe the older ps5. Dont wotk...i dont know anymore. Any imput would be greatly appreciated.
Very useful video, I like the thing that you take it easy and simple. But unfortunately, Fanatec is going to raise the price of their products starting today maybe including GT DD Pro. I'm not sure if guys at Fnatec have understood that their prices are low or what... but it's so clear that you and reviews like your are very effective in this matter and play a major role. I'm not pointing at you as a culprit. But I think that you and youtubers like you are really playing a major role. So instead of that Trustmaster lower the price, but Fanactec raised it. However, thanks to your great video, I just purchased GT DD Pro seconds ago before the price rising start.
I agree with you but it needs to be said that the T-GT 2 really is the best you can get from thrustmaster. Compared to the T300/TX the T-GT 2 is far better imo. Just buy the servo base.
THIS, got a brandnew tgt II base for 375 Euro on amazon and a used tm open wheel for 80 Euro. Its a very good midclass option. The GT DD PRO without boostkit for 706 euro lacks in strenght imho and the gt dd pro rim is also lackluster. I am only upgrading to gt dd pro when its not bundled anymore. Im not paying 300 extra Bucks for some pedals, cheap gt rim with a table clamp i dont need. You can get a frickiing Clubsport RS wheel for 300 Euro
Hey, this rig is called “Next Level Racing GT Track” which is not collapsible. NLR does have a collapsible chair, but the DD is quite heavy and if you need to hard mount (mount using bolts) it would be a logistical nightmare due to all the work getting it into place and out of it. If you have a heavy table you can use the table clamp which also works well. Hope this helps, good luck and thanks for the comment! X
I got it in some local stores. One thing I’d recommend (it’s going to sound weird) is strapping the seat belts it comes with. When we brake, our lower back tends to come forward and that not only makes braking harder to be consistent it also gives us very nice lower back issues. I found strapping on the seat belts help keep our bodies in the correct (and more importantly the same) place. Give it a go, I hope it helps!
Hola. Partiendo de que suelo usar mando... ¿Hay mucha diferencia entre el T300 rs gt y este gt2? Too much difference between T300 rs the Gt2 model? I usually play with a xbox controller...
Great video dude. In the UK, we have the added wonder of Brexit, meaning Fanatec shipping to the UK adds additional VAT (I'm guessing 20%) meaning TGT2 bundle = £600, DD Pro bundle a whopping £855!
Uhh, this makes no difference to how much VAT you pay. You only pay EU VAT for items shipped within the EU. When we were in the EU you would pay the tax to Fanatec direct, (same amount 20%) under the EU-UK VAT agreement and it's included in the final price... typically now when you purchase something from the EU to the UK since Brexit the VAT is usually removed at point of sale, and you instead pay UK VAT at customs. It works out the same 20%. If Fanatec are charging uk VAT at point of sale, then they must have a company based in the UK registered for VAT either way you don't pay it twice! you may however need to pay import fees. This is a different thing though. Likewise you do not charge UK VAT if goods are exported from: Great Britain to a destination outside the UK
@@Jayjayuk12345 So in simple terms the customs fee on top of the regular 20% VAT then. I don't know how much the customs import fee will be. I'm guessing it won't be pennies. There is the added complication of UPS then creating an account and charging you this invoice for the customs fee. It's basically a massive pain in the ass.
@@Johnnyjawbone I edited my post a few times to try to explain that a bit better. Yeah, seems UPS will pay the VAT on your behalf and collect it from you as well as the charges for that service. Should be be able to find out how much that is though. To test, I just added something to my basket at Fanatec, and at checkout it removed the 20% EU VAT from the total price once i chose UK as delivery address. I don't think you need to open a UPS account though, Fanatec state UPS are their delivery partners. They will ask for payment of the 20% Vat + Fees on delivery i guess.
I already have Thrustmaster T-LCM pedals and it works great with my T300. Now I will replace it with the T-GT 2 wheelbase+wheel. If you play mostly GT7 on PS5 and you are not a pro sim racer, the T-GT2 is more than enough for having fun.
You can get a clutch pedal as an extra, or if you end up upgrading to the Load Cell version you can move the existing brake pedal to the left and use it as the clutch! It is a bit frustrating I agree.
@@afons that’s cool though. I might just go with the upgraded version. Only thing I’ll need is a manual shifter. I like to have the traditional shifter even though paddle shifters are the normal thing now lol. But it’s cool to drive classics etc with a Manual shifter and clutch.
I’m currently on a Logitech g29, Ik I’m poor and just starting out, but I’ve gotten the absolute pleasure of trying a Podium dd2. But for a base would you think I should start with this or just save up a good bit and shell the money for a DD1
Thats for the comment! Ah man, that’s a tough one. Not gonna say the DD1 isn’t a better product, but if money is an issue, the DD1 is much more expensive. Any of the options are an unbelievable upgrade on the g29 so I don’t think you will be disappointed. Maybe you could spend the extra money saved from getting a DD PRO on a number of wheels? Accessories? It’s a really tough one tho, please let me know what you end up doing!! X
Does the load cell resistant feel the same on par/much better than trigger button on dual shock 5? Vibration & trigger resistant on Dual shock 5 is damm good on GT7.
You can't compare a controller to a wheel, completely different immersion levels but the load cell just adds resistance for better braking precision, it's the wheel itself that translates the car's braking "feel". I had a quick play with GT7 through the B License tests on a controller and quit out of boredom. It was completely unimmersive, it just can't translate car/road feel like a wheel. DD Pro ordered the next day.
Honestly, you would have to be a bit patient. The orders started coming in 2 weeks ago (ahead of schedule in europe) so you might not need to wait as much as you originally think. Either way, its worth the wait if you like your sim racing!! x
What do you recommend for a stand setup for the DD Pro that won't break the bank. Just bought the DD Pro and load cell kit and says will be available March 28 and load cell on April 7. Hopefully won't be a crazy lead time. I'm ready for it!!
I have the first TGT that I bought in 2017. Still love it. But definitely interested in the Fanatec. One problem I have though is that I use Macs, so updating drivers is next to impossible for me. Other thing I’d like to know is, do you not miss the feel of the transducer on the tgt-2? I actually think it adds more immersion, and that’s me just using the tgt-1.
The Mac thing is quite the annoyance, and TM will have the "Plug and play" much more available than the Fanatec counterpart. In that sense the TGT is a clear winner (although you can surely find someone in your circle that has a PC you could use, albeit, a true pain in the butt). The transducer. Oh my. That thing was a huge discovery and a monumental set up for inmersion like you say. I havent missed it one bit though, honestly. You get all the detail you could ever need in the DD. Its very different. Its smooth whilst somehow giving you that similar level of detail. Its weird and awesome. You will have to calibrate it properly to get the most out of it though, where the TGT is just plug and play. Thanks for your comment and good luck x
@@afons I’m honestly having a great time on my T-GT 1 in GT7. The physics translate very well, and the transducer rumble is still there. Certain things such as jumps and curbs aren’t quite as pronounced as in GT sport, but I think that’s due to the physics programming of GT7.
