Agreed, I just wish it had an extra head sculpt and double jointed arms. The heads we got were stern and angry, I would have loved to see a happy Wonder Woman. We got happy with Mezco Superman and even Batman of all people.
Awesome review. I was lucky to found mine at GameStop and it’s the lighter color. I think her height is good because she supposed to be the same height or a little bit tall then the men because she is a Amazon woman
@@ultimateslinger9857 in my opinion it’s horrible, but it’s part of why they can get the product out so quickly. At least according to Todd, he wants the figure to be collectible and in order to do that it has to be scarce I guess.
I've had this on pre-order from Amazon UK since 20th November. The release date has gone back twice and now it's unavailable. This damn figure is rarer than hens' teeth over here! I am really hoping that McFarlane produce enough to go around; I'm desperate to add it to my collection! 🙂
Wonder Woman carrying an axe is probably associated most with covers pencilled by George Pérez such as 1986's Wonder Woman #1 ("The Princess and the Power"), War of the Gods #1 ("Hellfire's Web"), and #4 ("In the Beginning...There Was the End").
Glad ai was able to help once again your a great dude I got Madd respect for You Fam., but yes as happy as I was to get her she is my #2 favorite because I Love thw Shazam WW Fig the most.
Her height is the only thing holding her back to being my favorite. I was so so so so so so excited to get her back in December. The gappy shoulder cups can be fiddled with, but she’s just so damn tall. I use a kitbashed Hush/Atomic Skull 2-pack Superman and Knightfall Batman as my display and she is noticeably taller. Both Supes and Bats are in static poses so her being all action-posed would be out of place. I did order Power Princess, and she’s on her way. If I like how she scales with Bats and Supes (we all know she’ll be too small, but shhhh) I’ll customize her and use her with them.
I actually think Wonder Woman should be taller than both Batman and Superman. Remember, she's a literal Amazon. I LOVE the way Darwyn Cooke drew Wonder Woman and Superman in The New Frontier (if you haven't read it, I highly recommend it!); Superman is obviously stronger, but Wonder Woman stood a bit taller than him
@@juansanchez209according to a size chart, Wonder Woman would be 6’, Bats 6’2”, and Supes at 6’3”. When standing Wonder Woman next to both figures, who are truer 7-inch figs, she is noticeably larger than them. She’d be closer to 7 feet tall in real life. It’s like she wants to rid crime by snu-snu.
@@timvanboening9432 Personally, I don't really put too much stock into canon size charts because of the liberties that each artist takes when penciling their comics. Some artists draw Hulk as a 7 foot monster while others draw him like a 10 foot behemoth lol
I like the height myself. I remember how much taller she was drawn than Superman in the old comics at times. She's an Amazon and 6'2". I think Superman has ranged from 6' to 6'4"...Ah, it's OK to me but we all have our choices. The Marvel one is way too short to be Wonderwoman, but is a great figure.
I actually like that she's really tall - having her (if she ever arrives, that is) look down on my Page Punchers Batman will be better than having Batman loom over everyone on the shelf, as if Bruce is somehow 6'11".
I hope Todd figures it out with this figure and makes it more available. I’d love to get my hands on it, it looks incredible. If I was able to get this and the classic Superman, what Batman would be the best scale wise and look wise? I’m new to collecting and want definitive versions of the big three.
9:12 I don’t think she’s too tall if anything superman and Batman are too short she’s the same height as all the Wonder Woman figures and the superwoman, who you said was a good height next to ultra man
😒 I haven't really been follow the DC Multiverse figure line since McFarland Toys took it over. So I pretty much have missed out on getting Wonder Woman at a good reasonable retail price, which means she's gonna cost more than what I'm willing to pay for her now. 💸
From afar ths version of Wonder Woman looks good, but in hand it feels cheap! even to the point of moving the arms! the shoes could be better! but its not worth 30 bucks, but have fun for those that want it!
I got this one but it was the platinum then went to my local GameStop to try and find the regular version and they also had the platinum. Super Frustrating
the 2006 DC Direct wonder woman is a glorified statue, this figure/ action figure is better. no doubts. this is the best wonder woman action figure which can action. period
It's a decent Wonder Woman. Not amazingly awesome but decent. Good luck finding her though. All these McFarlane collectors have been jonesing for comic book Wonder Woman for so long, they're getting snatched of the pegs.
I hate to say it but man, I just don't like Todd's mindset because he could have made her as a regular release instead of being one of his stupid ass Collector Editions, However, She still looks cool with that beautiful head sculpt, those nice curves and especially with those weapons plus shield.
Why is Batman, a dude who wears clothing over every square inch of his clothing, only goes out at night, and is of scottish and ashkenazi descent, tanner than Wonder Woman, a lady who is from a Mediterranean island who runs around in a bathing suit?
hey Shart , I just got her as well (for $4 no less) There's a mod that can be done to the butterfly cup, you can flip it inside out and trim the inner portion enough (exacto or dremel) to accommodate the arm pop it back in and no more gap! It may be a bit of work but it will work.
I'm just waiting for ML proportioned figures by DC. I want to buy Macfarlene so bad, but the size differences is too much. I NEED my Marvel Vs D.C collection damn it
I got this one but it was the platinum then went to my local GameStop to try and find the regular version and they also had the platinum. Super Frustrating
