I tried the Presonus Audiobox 96, its ok. I ended up with Focusrite Scarlett. You can use the Scarlett Solo or for me a 4i4 (so I can use for other personal recording as well). Both are thinner than the Audiobox 96 giving me extra room in the bag because my iPad needs to have a case for protection.

I would recommend CME WIDI Master virtual MIDI cable adapters for wireless MIDI. Super convenient, and eliminates the cable clutter

One of the things I've bought was laptop stand and a Korg nano pad 2 controller. I don't have any space for the pad controller bc of my nano controller i already on the keys so i would recommend buying a dual phone holder with a solid backplate with mounting arm to the laptop tripod Reason is to get stability from the two holders and for me i think it would work nice on the pc tripod instead of having too many tripod stands

I was wondering your thoughts on the nord pianos. We use one at our church but I honestly feel like midi keys sound better and give you more control. Part of this could be because I may not fully understand how to work it but either way it just seems like piano vsts sound better to me. What do you think? it's definitely a nice sounding keyboard so I'd hate to use it as a glorified midi controller lol

I use a Nord stage 2 as a glorified midi controller however when the w-team change a song and need it to play quickly or something goes wrong with the rig. Then I have premade some live presets as a backup on the nord.

personally i enjoy using my nord standalone but open to using it as midi when necessary. if all i’m doing is piano, pads, a little organ and some synths im set with the nord and there’s so many ways to have control but for specific songs i use mainstage.

Nothing wrong with having Nord at church, it's just that most people couldn't afford that at home. What I know is most people have an iPad already, and a midi keyboard if you play keys. So it's just paying $120 for Sunday Keys, $99 for the audio interface and a few more cables and you have yourself something pretty close but at 1/10 of the price. And then you can carry all your settings, and having practiced your set at home, and connect to any midi keyboard and play the same way. Otherwise, you will need a Nord thats the same as church in order to practice and get the same sound. Remember, you're also trying to use different patches, layers, effects, and perhaps 3-4 of these in a song that you can switch. You won't be able to do that with your Nord unless you love staying back at church just to practice with it. What I end up doing is also having other instruments on my iPad such as Pianoteq so I can carry my Steinway everywhere I go.

do you or anyone use coloured cables for easy traceability ? all our cables are black. I was going to put tape or colours electrical tape on them... but im not sure if that is enough?

Is the Focusrite Scarlet 4i4 useful for splitting the pad output and keys outputs to two stereo pairs for FoH mixing, as well for our teams? We want to have them hear less pads than they do now.

I got that power supply but it makes a lot of noise, even after I changed the ground lift switch on the DI, it still makes a noise when I touch the screen. Has anybody else experienced that?

Noise as you describe is most often caused by less than ideal power running to the system. It could be poorly shielded wiring, low quality plugs, or the use of a power strip prone to interference, for example. When you touch the screen you 'complete a circuit' in a way, which is an additional indication that the issue isn't the power supply, but what the power supply is being plugged into. When noisy power is causing issues we often find that investing in a good, high quality power conditioner from a company like Furman will clean up the power and as a result, the audio.

I use an Apple 30W USB-C Power Adapter which is the charger for a MacBook Air and it's super small (for the bag they recommend here to carry).
