Adding some ✨ TIME STAMPS ✨ for my fellow Kackie and blush obsessed peeps. (I watched the video then wanted to watch her thoughts on certain brands but oof that was hard so this is for those wanting to reference back ). I highly recommend watching the full video because Kackie's genius of comparing shades and textures as she goes is irreplaceable. 2:17 Danessa Myicks nudist pallette 4:06 Patrick Ta 6:05 Melt cosmetics 7:50 chantecaille 9:00 tower 28 10:18 makeup by Mario 11:47 Daniel Sandler visual flush 12:55 ilia color haze 13:50 Lisa Eldridge 15:15 Saie beauty 16:30 Natasha Denona 17:40 Danessa Myicks vision flush 18:48 Westman Atelier 20:45 illamasqua 23:55 +42:50 phytosurgence 25:40 elf putty blush 27:30 milani cheek kiss cream 29:10 Daniel Sandler liquid watercolor 30:28 glossier cloud paint 32:04 em cosmetics color drops 33:27 Fenty 34:25 Thrive causemetics triple threat 36:00 lys 36:50 + 44:55 Kjaer Weis 37:49 rare beauty 39:47 Milani cheek kiss liquid 40:16 iconic London 41:00 flower beauty 41:54 rituelle de fille nectar blush 43:20 Danessa Myicks color fix 44:05 ilia multi-stick 45:47 kosas 47:18 salt new york
I cannot tell you how much I love this kind of video 😭❤️❤️❤️ I love having these encyclopedic videos to come back to while shopping and seeing all the shades next to each other is great, and you have so much to say about every single item 😄
I think the only thing I would ask for future videos is maybe going from your least favorite to your favorite, that would help to just narrow down the best of the best
You have no idea how much I appreciate this video! I have been super into cream blush but I don’t want all the same shades and formulas. You comparing the formulas and shades all at once is immensely helpful, thank you!!
Kackie, I need you to know that even though I really don’t wear much blush, this entire video was a joy just to hear how passionate you are about color and formula nuances.
The title just sings to me! It's an immediate like. I could do a Blush Bingo and keep a tally how many we have in common but that means I also have to count mine and we're not quite ready for that. 🤣
This might be the most informative, thorough video on RU-vid. Thank you, Kackie! I wish I could nominate this for an award. Just incredibly thoughtful and easily one of the best videos I've ever seen on the platform
Holy moley! ! I have 5 blushes, and 3 face palettes - no creams - and I have trouble picking one among them to wear on any given day. I would go nuts with the number of choices you have. Thank you for doing this.
I love how well you know your blushes! Thank you for going into detail - I don't just want color swatches, I want to understand the nuances of the color, the formula, and the finish since those qualities change the way the product looks and performs. And knowing the dupeability of a shade is very helpful as well.
I appreciate you making these kind of videos so much! They satisfy my itch to have an extensive knowledge of every cream blush on the market 😅 I kinda went on a cream blush craze last year after I ran out of my fave Glossier Dusk and have tried more than I like to admit in the meantime, but I just caved and ordered Dusk again because nothing really compares to it: the formula is so easy to put on, fuss free, long wearing and the shade is perfection and so hard to dupe in its nuance. That said, I looove the Daniel Sandler gel formula and wish he would come out with more shades! I‘ve also discovered that I can appreciate a lot of blush shades and formulas, but that still doesn‘t mean I‘m gonna reach for them on a daily basis
I know you literally just put your ENTIRE blush collection on your face (and we thank you immensely for your work 🥵), but an amazingly resourceful video would be you showing us the most nuanced shades you have in your collection. Maybe actually applied individually to your face as blush. I am so tired of buying makeup that ends up looking the exact same as everything else I have in my collection. But I also want MORE BLUSH. More blush! Thanks again for this today! Such a lovely overview!
I love blush and found this super helpful! Your extensive knowledge about them will assist me in selecting a few (rather than too many), thereby saving me quite a few dollaires!
“And it SMELLS like vanilla” *happy dance* I am cackling at that bit 🤣 also, love this video! I’m committed to curating a ‘capsule wardrobe’ of makeup and skincare this year without any extras so I’m sticking with Westman Atelier for most things but this gave me ideas for when my current ones run out 😏🙌🏽
i just found your channel. i love how passionate you are about blush and how you actually pay attention to products thoughtfully. so many beautubers dont even think about what theyre putting on and just move onto the next product. nice to hear actual thoughts on products!! btw you sold me on the natasha denona puff paint. really excited to try it. glossier has been looking heavy on me lately and getting sick of always getting too much product on
This brilliant video has been incredibly helpful for me being quite new to the cream/liquid blush game. Plus seeing actual live skin swatches just seals the deal here.Thank you so much for doing this 😊
Ok, this is only the second video of yours that I’ve watched. But girl, you’ve got my attention! You’re so knowledgable and have a great personality. I’ll be binge watching your whole channel later!
@@glaciergang I have a review blog and realized that a ELF review would be great when hearing about the putty blushes so I grabbed a putty blush, putty bronzer, eyeshadow quad, hydrating concealer, and hydrating core balm for less than $25!
Hey Kackie..I loved the video and all the creamy goodness but would you mind doing a cream blush collection showing all the colours maybe even leave out the swatches for maybe 2022 because it is so much easier to see them together all in one place like the melt cream blushes and the other colours you didn't show in a certain brand formula?? Pretty please,I would be really grateful🌸❤
I’m only 20 minutes in, but I would like to politely request a powder blush version before I forget lol I’ve been rewatching all the videos, kind of feeling like I’m going to buy too many Patrick Ta blushes at this point lol like, all the Patrick Ta plus divine rose🤣💸
Love love love these videos and watching you nerd out over color theory seriously has helped me so much plus the energy and excitement you put off always love watching you 🖤
Realistically, I know that I have literally no need for all of the blush. But while I was watching this video my Capricorn brain was making a list of how I could get all of them. So I started like writing things down on a time table of when I need them by. Because my Gemini moon was like BLUSH IS PRETTY!!!!
I realize I am months late watching this video, but I feel compelled to BEG for a video on nuanced shades. Literally any product type, any price point, just the shades that make you go "oooooh!"
The best tool to have with any Denessa Myricks products is a good stainless steel palette. It makes all the difference! Especially using her eye balms life saver! Honestly anything she makes. Especially since her stuff is multi use you can control the amount you can dab it out & you’ll have a much easier experience and you won’t waist product. You can do it on the hand but it will dry way faster than it being on a metal palette. The best purchase that complements her products! Go to Amazon they have cheep nice ones. It makes such a difference. My 1st Kosas blush order was legit stale stunk of crayons 🖍 After that I didn’t bother but I do love the concealer.
It’s a cream blush love- story I can relate to! 💕 I own a lot of the brands you were talking about. The ones that I have, that you didn’t mention are the ones from honest beauty, one from tarte (in shell - form), milk make up & nudestix. Really looking forward to that new picante shade by Allana to be available in Europe!
Thinking about all the cream blush I wanted to say that I love the Salt New York lilac blush and it’s the same color as my Fenty cream blush in cool berry! I buy all the lilac cool blush adjusters!
I had no idea how good lilac/purple blush could look on my pale cool skin until I bought the Salt NY one. Ere Perez and Nudestix also recently released purpley shades.
Danessa Myrick is amazing!!! I have been using the color fix in shade latte so much. I love monochromatic looks so my method is to do my eyes first with a tiny dot and use what is left on my eyeshadow brush on my cheeks. I then use my makeup sponge to blend. I loved this video! I’m a semi-newbie to makeup and am looking for a nice berry. There are so many brands to choose from. I was leaning towards LYS but the Thrive on your nose looks so good.
I got all three of the Natasha Denona blushes after you recommending it. They are all so funkily good like you said! The deepest cherry color is such a good instant "fjord" and also works surprisingly well as a lip stain!
Can you please try the shade dreamer in the ilia muti sticks so you can retry the formula and just to try the color because i find it to be the perfect sunburnt color and i think it would look wonderful on your skin
Ok plz help. At 38:59 and 39:01 there’s like a jump skip and in that time you get a blush color that touches the left side of your mouth. Did you mix what was on your face or add something else? Cuz THAT COLOR. I need to know!!
I really have all the “core” colors, I only really go for nuance now and days. That being said Bichette by Westman, and the Daniel Sandeler in orange gel r very curious looking (in a good way!). I would be interested to see u review new Armani cream blush, they seem to be nuanced shades (idk if they r cruelty free, apologies if they r!).
Hi!! I have frisson and infatuate (illamasqua blushes) I use them with the 407 brush from real techniques. I take a little bit with the brush and I remove the excess product on my hand then I go to the face. Frisson is sooooo gorgeous. Love this video!
Thanks girl for making this video! I actually had NO clue Natasha Denona had those puff paints but I just popped two colors into my online shopping bag for Sephora just now lol they look stunning! And I competely agree with the Kosas Blushes.. I so wanted to love them as I loved the colors esp. Tropic Equinox.. But everytime I applied them, I really didn't like the feel and wear of them :(
this is my favourite video from you yet! Any chances you can give a comment about the Rituel de Fille inner glow créme blush in Delirium? I watched your review on it and wanted to know what u think now ☺️
Loved this video so much! I looove blush a lot. But I ... don't have any cream blush right now😓. I'm thinking about buying some. Honestly , I don't really care about unique shade range cause, I don't even have basic cream blushes to begin with. I wanna have a blush that mimics my natural blush shade. Kinda like a MCBB cheek colour uk. And I've observed my face so many times that I clearly know my natural blysh shade. It is a reddish rosy pink kinda colour. Can you please suggest me a cream blush in that kinda shade? I have dry skin so I don't want my blush to feel drying. But I'm not a fan of how extremely dewy blushes look on the cheeks. I prefer a formula that sets down to a comfortable powdery finish. And also I'm super fair and don't like a whole lot of pigment. So something thats sheer, almost watercolour as you usually describe is my type of blush. Could you kindly recommend me a blush like this exact colour, finish and pigmentation? I'm sorry if I'm being annoying. I hope I'm not. I love your videos. Please keep them coming🤗💖💖
I have finally purchased Bread n Butter from Danessa Myricks and I wanted to say that it is NOT a dupe for Petal from Westman Atelier. Bread n Butter is considerably warmer than Petal. Danessa's formula is indeed lovely, but it is also much more pigmented.
Where does Tata Harper sit for you now? I've just about run out of my pot :((( and it's sooooo hard for me to get ahold of where I live, so I'm debating what to do now. Also, thanks for your commitment to blush!!! It's my fave makeup item, too.
I am literally three months late to this video but I have to share that when you said the blush lights from melt are orangey, I thought for at least 30 seconds that you said Warren G.
