I'm back with a my series for Best & Worst Staterooms on ‪@RoyalCaribbean‬ Ships. Today's video is the Explorer of the Seas.
How are those corner aft balconies? Have you heard of the "stripper pole" rooms? I go over all of these today.
If you are an experienced RCCL cruiser, these videos are probably not for you. These videos are geared towards cruise novices or those new to Royal Caribbean.

At least some of the 1300's toward Aft on Deck 10 , are Virtual balconies as well. That's what we have booked for March 2025

Thanks for this extensive breakdown. I am in one of those virtual balcony interiors, but on the 10th floor, right below the lido deck and buffet. Should I strongly try to move to 9th? Otherwise room is perfect location, mid ship, close to buffet and pools, and close to elevators but not so close that noise from it would be issue.

Why are the rooms “on the hump” good/better? Is it a an unobstructed view from the balcony?

Typically their balconies are larger and they are also mid-ship, which make their location desirable.

The site you mentioned to view rooms is saying it's $8.99 for membership. Is this the site you are referencing was free?

It's free to look at all the deck plans. If you want to look at the pictures, yes, I believe there is a membership fee. Another way is to search RU-vid for a stateroom. There are tons of videos online of stateroom tours, especially for a ship as old as Explorer of the Seas.
