1:16:06 I used to work (at MAC) with the makeup artist that did Sheryl Lee’s makeup and he is a phenomenal makeup artist. When we would hang out outside of work, I would be like “teach me your ways!” And “Dazzle Glass” from MAC is what does that. 😅

You guys do such an amazing job of being inclusive. As a 41 year old woman, I feel pretty invisible. So to have you guys regularly including mature makeup and techniques is just …wow. Thank you!!!

The more pro makeup looks I see, the more I'm beginning to think that any makeup artist who's never had to learn how to perfect a dark complexion has missed the most valuable training. It's the complexities of a person's complexion and facial structure that truly challenge sufficiently to increase perfectionism of technique. I understand training on what's already familiar, but being pushed out of your comfort zone is what truly educates. Actually, I feel the same way about learning how to perfect a more mature complexion, because fine lines, wrinkles, deep creases, sagging skin... those pose huge challenges too. If you can make a well-seasoned person look really stunning in makeup, than a 20-ish year old becomes effortless.

Thank you for the tip to use liquid lip stain as liner! I've been wearing lip stain since masking started. I hate the dryness but love that it stays on all workday and beyond. Real people like me must wear makeup for a long time, too, so I'm using this idea. Gentlemen, I'd love ideas for people who wear glasses. Maybe when Johnny gets his you could do an episode about it? 🖤🧡 This is definitely in the top three of my favorite videos you both are in the expressions on Kevin's face especially when you zoomed in on JLo's lips priceless he stood up gently moved the mic to the side and was done 😆🤣 Johnny falling on the floor because Kevin is just that guy he is hilarious but he always gets his point across even if he's making you piss your pants you both are amazing... Johnny explaining and showing the difference in Julianne Moore's makeup made so much sense I'm so glad you broke it down to where not just myself but a lot of us can understand my favorite part was when you said ( it's not about hiding the wrinkles 💯 ) And I think that's what a lot of us are trying to do with concealer powder we see the word uplifting firming in makeup blurring and we assume our wrinkles are going to be gone and when the first application doesn't do it we keep adding more to make those wrinkles disappear but in reality we're making it a thousand times worse and by you showing us that with the computer imaging just adding some color keeping the texture and her wrinkles made such a difference it's honestly going to change the way I do my makeup I'm in my early 40s I take excellence care of my skin but I do have some fine lines around my eyes even with Botox it's inevitable it's the aging process and Johnny always talks about Les is more and because of you I started using less liquid foundation and utilizing my powder with color in it so I have less product on my face kind of like the JLo picture I was honestly shocked when it was zoomed in and you can see the shimmer stuck under her eyes in her wrinkles and fine lines and that pink whatever it was that was outlining her lips and there was no other color it was a solid peach pink I'm not even sure what it was? Thank you guys so much for breaking these tips down for women like myself women like me who are trying to keep up with the trends trying to stay relevant when it comes to makeup I want to look and feel my best without looking like I'm trying to hard and it coming out a cakey mess You both are amazing Thank you for all the time The research everything it takes to push out these videos I know it's not easy but you both are truly very much appreciated in your videos make my day that much better... Keep doing what you both do best You're a dynamic duo that nobody can touch or replicate and I really do hope Julianne Moore sees this because to have her on the pod and you giving her a makeover would be everything Love you both from The Bay area. 😘
