The old individual side missions I struggled to fill up space for a video since I only talked aobut 1 first impression for a cartoon. With Top 5s I do as much as I need to do when talking about these shows.

The fandom for Villainous grew pretty big because of not only the characters, but there are hints through out the shorts and a ton of references in the background I'm honestly not surprised at how big it's grown and I heard it's going to become a show

Also the art style of Villanos is pretty popular among young artists. The round eyes and rectangular fingers, and the psychotic smiles...yup. Totally Timblr material.

Pan, as a solo stop motion animator, I am SO glad you introduced me to Buddy Thunderstruck! The style of humor and production values just matches my tastes to a tee.

When they hire youtubers to voice act, you know they are going to hire youtubers who are popular and have zero voice acting talent, like with Minecraft Story mode, the voice acting in that was shit. They should hire abridgers or people who voice characters is animations on youtube not just some popular youtubers.

Both Villanos and Legend Quest has an awesome animation and style! The Mexicans do their best.

I honestly never heard of Legend Quest or Buddy Thunderstruck, even though I could've easily found them just by scrolling through on Netflix. Now I know what I'm gonna watch there. Thanks for the suggestion! :)

I think it's good that other countries like Mexico are trying to branch into America with cartoons. Honestly I think most of the creators in America are running out of ideas and that's why we have so many bad cartoons lately. That or the companies they work for just refuse to hire anyone that actually has good ideas or talent in some cases. Also RebelTaxi I'm curious what's your idea for a cartoon? If you don't want to answer because of people possibly stealing said idea just let me know. Honestly I'm too afraid sometimes to tell others my ideas so I know if they are good or not, because some people will steal them and say it's theirs. It's sad really how people will do that to each other claiming their creation/idea as there own when they had no right or part of another's creation/idea.

Its funny because Villainous has apprently been picked up for a full show. I'm also surprised Pan didn't do his whole "my people win again" thing, son i am disappoint.

As far as I know, it's only Markiplier voicing the bear in villainos. And the creator voices Black Hat in both the Spanish and English translations. And their the only two with an actual background. Todd Asayer, and Melaney Sems are the only two actors that have no info about them. Kinda wish they got the guy who voiced Double D from Ed, Edd n Eddy to voice Dr. Flug, felt like a good fit with the character, and it would also work considering they had Double D's Spanish voice actor for Flug.

In the credits for Marcus Level that were on the screen, it said that the music was done by Christophe Heral. That name caught my attention because he did a lot of the music for Rayman Origins and Rayman Legends.

I'm glad that Mexico has finally making good animation, at this point they will finally reach at the Same level as the America animation... well at least in the tv cartoon shows.

TopCat movie reminds me of the animation style of HotDiggityDemon.

Do you think were on the beginning of an era of Mexican animation being popular in the US, similar to when Canadian and French cartoons came over in the mid 2000's? Villainous and Legend Quest seem pretty promising.

Yah totally just binged watched Legend Quest really great show. I actually had seen one of the movies it was based on. It was alright, it kept my attention and I didn't mind the subtitles seeing it was only available in Spanish when I found it on Netflix. Of course this was a couple years back. Netflix is doing something right with its original cartoons. Great stuff, really need to do more digging in the genre.

Well I haven't even heard furries talk about thunderstruck.

Is it just me or does anyone else get a lot of Super Paper Mario vibes from Villainous? I mean, Black Hat looks an awful lot like Count Bleck. The artstyle reminds me a lot of Paper Mario too. Also, Demencia sounds a lot like Dimentio.

*spits soda* YAS LEGEND QUEST I ALREADY WATCHED THE WHOLE SEASON OF THE LEGEND QUEST AND ITS AMAZING (im not gonna spoil the season) I really love the paranormal so this show is definetly for me AND BESIDES IM MEXICAN AMERICAN IM GLAD SOMEONE FINALLY DOES A SHOW BASED OFF OF URBAND LEGENDS AND STUFF OF MEXICO also im glad someone agrees with me that its a great show

So little backstory on "Legend Quest" there are three (four?) movies that show Leo's backstory, all in spanish and can be found on Netflix. La Leyenda de la Nahuala, La Leyenda de la Llorona, and La Leyenda de las momias. I really recommend them, Pan, if you liked the cartoon.

You do know that you have to actually write a script, create characters, and pitch your idea to get on the network, right? They're not going to come to you just because you want them to.

I knew about that French cartoon Marcus Level, they aired here in Mexico, it's not really a horrible show but not that appeling, is a tipical quest about saving a princess from a bad guy....and that's it. About Villanous, it obtain popularity right away because of 2 things: Superficial elements and the fact that is a Mexican production that doesn't suck, first, the cool desings and nice animation make it appeling for everyone how is fan of villans shows and second, pretty much 99% of latin-american productions suck ass, they throw you in the face the culture from the country it's been produce, and the sad thing is that we only have recognition for that, this doesn't do that and already is the second coming of Jesus Christ for latin-americans, this is a great step for us Mexicans and in general latin-americans how want to do quality animation, we need more fresh productions like these, instead off commercial and in your face latin culture like what Anima Studios does everytime.
