I'm definitely on the Kendall side of how I evaluate fantasy football, startup drafts, and roster construction. Just go for the highest value team possible, don't worry about position or rebuilding or contending. If you have the most value possible then you have the freedom to maneuver your team in any direction you want and you'll usually be able to contend while also having a young roster. Eliminating the need for a true rebuild down the road, while also never having to sell the farm to go "all in".

@@thefantasyfootballtavern Maybe once I join more leagues, I was in 3 leagues but 2 of them shut down. The only league I'm in is The Pro Bowl with Phil currently, going into year 2 of that one so no draft to break down.

One of my first early takeaways from dynasty startup draft analysis at the beginning of the season was that my early round tie breaker is def 2 QBs through 1st 3 rounds (4 is playing dangerous unless your early 4th) so that this is never a decision I'm remotely considering. I do like him as a 'buy the dip' but the price has to reflect a dip and it's not. I'd like him in the 7th-8th as a more reasonable ADP

I'm assuming it's not TEP, but if it is, let me know. My spicy take right now is that I'm definitely taking Jonathan Brooks at 4 right after Rome goes but before the rest of the WRs. Then at 7 I'm taking my fav WR. In order for me is: Worthy, Ladd, BTJ then Coleman. They are all awesome so it's just splitting hairs. I'm starting to fall on Worthy and rise on Ladd and Coleman. Close to Ladd then Coleman for me and I've been mixing up my exposures. Hope it goes well for you!!
