Received this from someone and wanted to share: Disagree that Fiji is "far from everything". You are steps from Captain Cooks, Trader Sams, and the rest of Ceremonial House (including monorail). And the views are far more beautiful than Aotearoa which is directly across the path from Fiji. Have stayed in 3 buildings at Poly and Fiji is my favorite!!
May want to mention, that since Niue only has 2 floors there are not balconies in this building and there are not elevators. You need to take the connection the ceremonial house to use an elevator.
I would definitely request the Tuvalu building if you want to splurge! It was an amazing room. We had first floor and had clear views of water pageant and first works! Plus, we didn’t think the walk was terrible to any of the other buildings or dock. Close to luau and the walkway to GF. It was an amazing experience, highly recommend!

We stayed in Hawaii club level, 1st floor rooms have walk out patios, third floor. have balconies, but important to note 2nd floor rooms, though on same floor as club lounge, do not have balconies... just balcony doors, so no separate outdoor space.
Exactly what I was looking for! Have reservations for this Sep.2021 for Marina/Pool view rooms and I’ll definitely request Samoa rooms facing the Volcano pool. Almost requested Fiji, but thanks to this video and now looking at pictures, definitely Samoa wins! Thanks!

Great video. The format and room options look a bit different but i assume it's because of the renovations. We are booked for July 4th through the 10th and have the Theme Park View, 2 queens, 1 daybed. Was having a tough time understanding what the best case scenario room would be then worst case. Any thoughts??
Great video! We have 4 rooms reserved for 7-days at the Polynesian. We requested to be as close together as possible and to be on the ground floor. Am I asking too much to also submit a Touring Plans request for a general location - Niue or North-facing Rarotonga? I would obviously list this as our 3rd request because the other two take priority.
Honestly, yes. I would either focus on 1. wanting to be close together OR 2. having a specific location, not both. If it's #1, then do 1 request and list all 4 reservation numbers in the notes AND make sure your reservations are linked by DVC Member Services.
Great video! I saw you did a video like this previously, is this with updated information? Also, is there a way to request a room type without using the touring plans website? Like through the Disney site? Is it a cost per month or a one time cost? Also, you should get a kickback if people use a link of yours for the touring plans website lol
This is the hotel/cash side. The other video is the Villas or the DVC side. And requesting through Disney is limited. Only way I've had luck with room requests is through TouringPlans. Its $18 for a 1 year subscription.
@@ShannonFord 9,7,3,1 any deciding between grand Floridian, beach club, poly.. we’re open on budget as long as it’s the best experience. Parks mainly magic kingdom but maybe others.
@@EH-ke3sl grand Floridian at Christmas is beautiful. Poly has minimal decorations but is a great resort. As is Beach Club. Wilderness Lodge is stunning at Christmas as well and has a boat to Magic Kingdom
