best top load washing machine 2023 Honest Review - Washer walk-thru if you can't afford a speed queen then get a GE or Whirlpool, some people like LG but whatever you do say away from Samsung
And when you mentioned computer problems down the road I absolutely agree. I have a whirlpool cabrio set and the dryer doesn’t start sometimes it does sometimes it doesn’t.👍
25 years ago, most top loaders were well built and did a great job cleaning clothes. In 2023, most top loaders are poorly made and share the same suspension design flaw that ensures they won't last, except for Speed Queen. How well were the old machines made? There's RU-vidr who refurbishes old washers and films it. He ran a load in a 70-year-old machine, PRE-REBUILD, and it worked great. The agitator plunged up and down vertically instead of spinning, clothes fully circulated about once every 60 seconds and were clean.
When this man enters the store, temperature drops 10 degree (in Celsius)... crows silence themselves and hold their breath... employees whisper to the backlot folks, hide the tubs, hide them all... and to the display units they say, sorry, boys, but be brave!
Love your videos. You have the insights, and that’s why I’m here. I’m confused though. You said the GE dual action agitator is best. But, you also said the direct drives by LG look good. Since GE doesn’t make supposedly direct drive, would you still go for it since LG doesn’t do dual action? (for some reason they say it’s four way action, but I don’t know what that means. ) I’m surprised all agitators don’t provide more than just a one way. It should be easier to pick a washer. 😮
Um our service technician recommended us either a LG or a Samsung over a Whirlpool or GE. That's what we went for is an LG, best washer we've ever had in our house. Also you say that GE is American made, well did you know that both GE and Whirlpool are using parts that are globally sourced? And did you know that both LG and Samsung are now assembling washers in America? Unlike GE or Whirlpool, LG and Samsung make their own parts.
Yep I had a brand new hotpoint (ge made ) broke within 4 months and ge sent one of their techs to look at it he said nothing was wrong so I called again and asked for a second opinion they sent an outside tech who said indeed the inner tub was broken and I was lucky it didn’t flood my house ge then put me on a do not service list after I cussed them for not ordering parts necessary to fix the unit for three weeks the tech and myself went back and forth with them refusing to fix their product
I agree all the way around; especially regarding Speed Queens; BUT ONLY THE TC series would the curves in the column of the agitator NOT the TR; with the straight vane agitator. With all due respect; I think the TR is the biggest mistake SQ made but thats just my opinion although if you google you will find out for yourself. The Speed Queen TC are the only "old school" washers still made to the best of my knowledge. They are worth the money. So glad they brought it back and still make it!!!! Only thing I miss is the "manual timer dial"
@@stevenlord6120 okay. Then I just can’t afford a good washer, I guess. I only make $30,000 a year and I cover all the costs for two adults and several pets. I got what I could get 🤷🏻♀️ wish I’d seen this first though. C’est la vie.
Bought a GE after my Bosch finally gave up after 20+ years. Nothing but problems with it, been fighting with GE for 6 months so far, had 2 repairs, and 4 service calls. Refusing to replace or refund and keep saying its "repairable" and throw more parts at it. Been an absolute nightmare!
Is true so farGE have had good rates. I'm not into electrical i want a simple G E washer i live alone so how Big do I need it right I appreciate you for your expertise. I'm buying my washer this week so thank you. Enjoy your day holidays ❤😂
GE GTX331EBMRWS, worst washing machine I ever used and deeply regret that I have bought it. Multiple issues: Doesn't fill properly no matter the setting chosen, agitator doesn't agite but pulses slowly or barely, spin cycle last over 20 min no matter what is in the washer ( 1 set of bed sheet!!!), rinse hot sometimes when supposed to rinse cold at all cycle! Got to select "Deep Rinse" to get a proper rinse other way, only spin with little sprays of water which don't rinse at all ! Really the worst machine ever! DO NOT BUY THIS!
I have a simple large capacity kenmore that’s 25 years old and all metal,no plastic and it’s still going strong. I dread the day I have to buy a new washing machine.
Don't listen to this guy, Samsung and LG make the best WD in the world with the best tech. I will make it simple for you: if you want latest and greatest tech and care for your clothing and save on energy and water with 5+ cuf size and super quiet go with either Samsung or LG. Just make sure to have the best model that suits your house need. If you don't care about tech, size and have lost of money to spend and you want something with real parts and service warranty, go with SQ. Tip: buy top loader only. Thank me later.
Had an LG set….front loader, stackable…lasted 12 years with 4-5 loads daily…not one service call. If I remember correctly…$1800 for the pair all in…delivered, set up, disposal & tax. Pump drive gearbox finally failed. Went to purchase another LG set but Covid and the delays created meant a 6-week lead time. Necessity and a “ good” sales associate speaking to my bride talked her into a GE set “on sale”. This thing sounded like a Lycoming engine in a Cessna 182 from day 1. Exactly 42 months later…pump & gearbox blew up…set oil 5’ away. Bought another 3:28 LG set 11 months ago. We need to be next to them to ensure they’re running…that’s how quiet both are.
They do not honor their warranty. My bin was completely burned… thank goodness it didn’t explode. Purchased in Feb 23 and broke Sept 1st 2023. Still trying to get replacement 1 month later. Service techs are incompetent and you will spend HOURS on the phone with Samsung. Worse purchase ever and it was an $1100 washer.
