Best & WORST Weapons in Apex Season 20 

I feel like the P2020 has gotten a lot of hate. People keep forgetting about the fast reload and controllable speed.

Being able to do well with a weapon doesn't make a weapon good. The p2020 is the worst weapon in the game from pretty much every statistical standpoint.

Literally the worst weapon in the game and HEAVILY dependent on if you magically find hammerpoint. It’s a reason no one uses it, maybe only In pubs if you hate your life.

@@scottchavez9382 it's just a meme, lifeline used to in the game randomly yell "MOZAMBIQUE HERE" but the Mozambique is an okay secondary. If your knew to apex I would recommend using the r301 and either a shotgun or smg. The r301 is easy to learn to control recoil an it's basically everyone's favorite gun when they first start. Personally I been using the nemesis and peacekeeper shotgun been destroying alot of people with it.

I agree with ya, I used to pick up a flatline every game but now i always have a havoc in my loadout. Its OP both in close and long range. You do have to learn how to control the recoil in long range but once you do, it shreds! Especially if you manage to pick up a turbocharger but even without it, its at least A tier

Its a controller player, of course they cant control recoil properly hence why he put it in b.

I’ve been a day 1 r99 lover, is has ALWAYS been my go to secondary no matter if it was “good” or “bad” but this season it genuinely abysmal.

R9 has my highest stats on smg and on any gun as ive loved it since s1 Using it now feels like im throwing a fight

Facts, damage per mag is dumb on the it

Get yourself some disruptors and it’s crazy good

Alternator and Spitfire or 301 for me this season. I personally think the alt has the best open sights in the game anyway.

Try the alt with disruptor and a 2x paired with the re45 w hammerpoint and digi. If you can find all that, it's not a bad close to mid range setup

No keep using flatline your a Chad for that, you automatically lose at least 2 inches of meat size for using burst weapons

Try the Alt, it's actually a great gun. My kills increased since I started using it, but it also depends on your play style.

R9 is still the dps king. It's just a less consistent dps king. It's far from wack.

@@qwertyg3666 You can’t kill a red evo until you have a blue mag. If you have a blue mag you literally can not miss a bullet. I think the margin for error with a purple is 3 bullets before you don’t kill. Its effective range got gutted. It loses to the prowler close range it loses to volt medium range. It’s wack.

@@BladeOfPurpleAura it beats the prowler if you hit your shots. Additionally with the armour changes by the time you're fighting purple armours you should have a suitable mag. It's effective range is still the same it just requires more control. It's no longer brainless.

I can't hit a single bullet with the 30-30 in close range, complete trash gun

But it's only been an issue since scan nerfs and thicker smokes. Smoke was irrelevant during seer meta or before the thickening of smokes when you could draw site lines through it. So while people have done smoke + digi for ages due to her buffs and scans nerfs it has been uncounterable for the last couple of seasons.

Triple take is a peak weapon that gets out traded by most ars let alone other peak weapons. It's rof is awful and needing to choke it makes peaking cumbersome. The re45 is also just bad. Against any player hitting an equal amount of shots using any other auto or burst weapon you are going to get out traded.

@g3666 I mean you're not really addressing my main point which is that they are both reliable at doing damage and are reliant on your teammates helping you get kills. Other guns because of the recoil you could choke a solo fight, at least with these guns the other person will likely be really low for your teammates to kill. Damage stats are hypothetical they don't tell the full story.

@@aja3longhorn375 They don't tell the full story but the triple take does not do sufficient damage to be viable, is only ok in some situations and never the best at anything. It's true raw damage doesn't tell the full story but if you have neither raw damage nor consistent damage thats a recipe for mediocrity at best. The need to choke the gun makes it's damage potential unreliable. The re45 just offers too little damage in the later game. Sure you can teamshoot with it but if the enemy teamshoots you with volts back you're still going to be the team that comes up short. Team shooting with more damage is better than team shooting with less. To determine if a weapon is good think about facing yourself with another weapon. If the other weapon is winning that engagement it's better than the weapon you are using. You cannot expect things to go your way in a given fight and must consider what a weapon offers in a bad spot as well as a favourable one.

@@qwertyg3666 My comment is based off of his list, there's no way the Devotion should be in a tier with those weapons.
