These are original packs, just in unlimited edition. It wasn't until Legendary Collection 2 that they created the mega packs. If there is any difference between unlimited and 1st edition packs, I believe unlimited edition had a HIGHER chance to give a foil, but not a 100% chance.
What I like about SimplyUnlucky is the fact that he brings back the expression most of us kids had when we used to open old packs like these. I can't explain the nostalgia and joy and all the feels I have for this video. So awesome. :'D Thanks for these awesome videos!
Sucks how non rare they made the Egyptian god cards, use to be worth something back in the day before you could get all three for 20 bucks from the same box. Remember the only way to get winged dragon of ra was buy getting it in this xbox game as for slifer he came in a magazine limited edition or something.
Isn't it good that it's easier 2 get now? I'm new 2 yugioh and I'm not really a collector so I don't know about rarity, but shouldn't the rarest versions of these be pretty hard 2 get?

To this day, I hate that Obelisk the Tormentor and Ra the Sun God retained their names almost unchanged. However "Osiris the God of the Dead", which was my favorite God Card back then up to this day, had his name changed all over the place. Damn lol

+xrubydiamond Nah 5ds was actually cool. i didn't like zexal anime but the xyz cards where a very nice addition. The pendulum monsters look cool and apparently the anime Arc V is great. I am a classic duelist too btw
+Hameed Paul gx is the best series ever , the original was good, 5ds was great , and zexal gets underrated but it's good and guys we got some great cards from it change game cards , and arc v the show is pretty good and omg even better game Changing cards with pendulums , but all in all I grew up on gx and its my fav but my fav character is Marik so I love the original but all my second place winners are in gx , aster Phoenix , Zane , I like crow though 👍 and I loved Galaxy eyes photon dragon from zexal

Slifer: It can be special summoned but destroy it at the end of the turn. Reduce all face up attack by 2000. If the target reduces to 0, destroy that monster. The attack of slifer gains from how many cards in your hand 1000 for each.(Slifer's attack keeps changing for every card you draw.)
thats how new sets are done, obviously in the old packs shown here they used to just replace the rare with the super/ultra/secret. I assume it's because these are reprint sets and it's easier to keep the current method of producing the packs....
That has to be one of the most amazing experiences with packs, pulling such rare cards. Now I have to see if there are local shops in my area that sell!
even when this first came out Jinzo was selling for $5.00. When looking up the value of cards you need to look at sold auctions on ebay to see what people are REALLY paying for these cards.
notice how each pack comes with a foil AND a rare. not that impressive. back when these packs were 1st released u only got ONE rare or foil in the packs. sometimes u get lucky and pull a rare and a holo in the same pack like what this guy is doing. these packs must have been reprinted.
I remember when I pulled my FIRST and LAST Secret Rare Gate Guardian from my Metal Raiders booster pack. I had the same reaction as you. Haha! The nostalgia!

I like how basicaly you pulled ultra rares that would be _really cool_ to try in HAT (Trap Hole), Hieratics (Serpent Night Dragon), Monarchs (Jinzo), Zubaba General Turbo (GateGuardian), archifiends (Skull Archfiend of Lightning) and even Lightsworn (Freed the brave Wanderer) decks... so maybe i guess you could make good money from them XD

hello.! i would like to get the god cards but im worried about getting fakes, the ones you have there, are those fakes.? are they good god cards to get at affordable prices and good ones to stick with as far as collecting is concern.? thanks dude.!
the best way to know you dont get low balled is to look and examin the cards yourself. i started collecting when the tv searies began and i have found some amazing gems. i have all of the god cards and an easy way to tell is to cheack the cut on the outside of the card witch is a dead giveaway. for example i had a friend who got burned when he baught what he thaught was a supper ultra rare obalisc the tormenter. what he got was a cheap made card with very bad cuts on the edges. i mean the card was crooked it was that bad and he had paid for it befor he saw it. so my advice would be to examin what you are buying befor you buy it and do some homework on the printing of cards. there are a couple fact you could dig up that you might find surprising.
Got a Legendary collection gameboard edition yesterday at Target. sold for 29.99 . very easily convinced the cashier it was marked at 19.99 and saved 10 bucks on it.
