was wondering the same thing. The cabinets have a suspension rail you can buy but it doesn't fit the tv stand which this one (and the one I bought) appears to be. I think it's as simple as drilling a screw through all of the metal brackets, but you need to get lucky and have a stud where all the holes are. Was hoping to find a video to confirm this but haven't had any luck. I feel like the cabinet is too heavy to just drill into drywall even with a screw mount. I think I'm going to buy a 2x4 and paint it white to match our cabinet and run it along the back of the whole cabinet. I can then drill that into the wall and the cabinet into the 2x4.
We have used the IKEA provided brackets for wall mount [refer: drive.google.com/file/d/1aqNaXXfqsx4uHirkLUz4NP559RV6BGR0/view?usp=sharing ] Additionally, we have used L shape brackets (purchased separately) at the bottom for additional support [refer: drive.google.com/file/d/1yDgBqUvjnRVaPTXjhoaPaLM94dvg9NC6/view?usp=sharing ]
@@reddyinpuner.i.p4187 Thank you that's a good picture. For the first picture though, did you drill into a stud or just the drywall? The cabinet seems to heavy to just use a plastic mounting screw. I will look into the L shaped bracket.
The mounting on the wall is I think for the most off us the main reason to watch this vid thats a minor, second minor why did you place the TV above the power socket? 🤦🏽♂️
you should have an electrician come and add a new power outlet behind the TV. We are finishing a basement and had our electrician install an outlet on the upper wall.
You can clearly see they moved the power outlet already and it was put to low. 😂😂 And why is it so long lol it's only supposed to be under the tv. I have one too 😢😢😢😂😂😂😁😁😆🤢
I have some questions. - You had to buy any extra Screws/Plugs or the ones supplied with the cabinet were enough? - Did you buy online or went to Mumbai/Hyderabad IKEA store? - Any other tips you want to share?
