​@@RiverRats-sx1lq Yes, I plugged it into the cigarette outlet in my Travel Trailer bedroom, used velcro to stick it to the wall, and it powers our TV and also our TV box and Hotspot. TV is 150w, new 40" from Walmart. Works a dream when we are dry camping

Check your car lighter fuse. Most modern cars use 10amp fuse, change it to 25amp.

@@Supremaque fuses exist to protect wiring, not to be annoying. Replacing the fuse without replacing the wiring is a fire hazard and can cause the wiring to melt/short

@@Mike-tm2tx not sure what you mean by how long does it last? If your TV requires 120vac then yes it can support that if need be. I use mine daily and it’s still working fine.

I doubt this inverter will be able to provide more than 150 to 180 watts connected in the way shown. It would need to be connected directly to the battery with a suitable fuse to provide the rated power out put. It probably explains this in the instructions that came with it.

Yea I got a 175 one and it turns on and even plays my series for like 2 min then crashes. So I just saved and bought a 6000 watt inverter. Just gotta get installed now. Finna have a big 55 inch in my van lmao lamps and shit 😭 I'ma be good now!

You maybe correct about the car lighter delivering 150w but this device don’t have the terminals to allow you to hook to batteries

@@KOMOSTECH I ran #10 wires to Anderson plugs from my fuse box. But for a laptop charger or CPAP machine this inverter should do alright with the stock plug.. Just keep an eye on the plug to make sure it doesn't get too hot. Thanks for posting.

@@KOMOSTECH long story short 300w is the max and that would be 25amp from a 12v socket which majority of vehicles only do up to 10amps maybe 15amps (trucks) The TV and Xbox combine simply isn't using above what your vehicle is rated for but its certainly not 300w but there is an adapter you can buy to max it out which this one didn't come with like most others.

my cigarette lighter fuse is 20amps. 14volts x 20 amps = 280 watts. personally i doubt the xbox was able to actually do more than boot and sit at the dash. i was wrong, the first xbox one: 70-120 watts, the xbox one s (in the video) 35-90 watts, the one x 65-180 watts. add the approx 30 watts for the tv and he's only sitting at about 140 watts. it looks like he is a truck driver, maybe they have larger fuses on top of it all. also, someone needs to say this: we dont know the efficiency of the inverter. my last junk inverter, not the one in the video btw) that plugged into the cigarette lighter consumed 190 watts dc to make 140 watts ac, about 70% efficient lol. i have a much bigger inverter that is 95% up to about 4k which is all the battery power i could provide at the time, but i digress

@@KOMOSTECH i commented on so many videos as a fool. later i learned how little power the xbox one s uses for gaming. like 100 watts, plus your tv im guessing only uses about 40 watts, putting you at 140 watts or so. i ordered the pure sine wave version and plan on doing a cool video too. thanks
