I don’t know why the upload bell didn’t go off? Anyways,,,just watched the video. That looked like you ended up with sore fingers from stretching the top out. I always thought of having a soft top but hate wind noise. You’ll have to do a video on that once you get it on the road. I will be googling the magnetic finger sleeve….It might just save me money from the cussing jar. Soft grinding wheels and cut off disc makes great stocking stuffers at my house. Great video !!!!

Lol you can never have enough grinding disk. I have had a jeep in the past with the Bestop and it was ok but yes a little noisy. I know you take long trips on yours so it would probably drive you nuts.

I went with the rampage mostly for price but but also rather the look of the side windows that being said it was a pain in my arss didn’t like drilling hole’s in my bronco plus some made no sense just a few extra engineered parts would have made the process so much better instead we’re supposed to figure it out ourselves! I’ll say this the best top door parts and tailgate bar way better than rampage

The tailgate area was supposed to be a better design on the Bestop. Since I have not really compared the two I could not talk too much about it. Thanks for watching!

I realize this isn’t related to the soft top video but I noticed that you cut your rear end for fender flares. Are you planning on doing a video for fender flares on your 66 or is your video of the 76 fender flares the only video you plan on doing? I guess I’m more or less curious which fender flares you decided to go with for the 66? Gorilla Warflares from Wild Horses?? I love your content! Please keep posting videos! I can’t tell you how many times I tune in to learn something new!

Thanks Darin! I did not do a video on cutting my '66. I didn't want to deal with the uproar..lol. I used Tom's flares on my Bronco. They both seemed very similar. Tom's flares have dimples so at least you know where to drill. The wildhorses flares seemed to have a little better shape. So all that said I think either one works and looks good in my honest opinion.

Thanks for the reply! I can understand the uproar you would be facing in a video like that 🙃

Seriously...I was like there is no way it is right after all the repairs and replacement panels. Glad yours is good too.

Hey Jason, for your roll bar I saw you hooked it into the windshield. What materials did you use and did you weld that roll bar yourself

Brett I bought the cage from Kincer/Krawlers Edge. It was way more cost effective for me to purchase it. It does bolt to the windshield. It does not have the forward bars that connect to the floor. It is well built and fit great. Thanks for watching.

It does my heart good to see you struggle with that crazy top...... I installed the same on my project and fight it tooth and nail to install now 2 times. Next spring it comes off and won't be reinstalled until weather is too cold to need it. Mine is a full hour minimum and a 2 person job.

Lol I understand... It irritates me when someone makes something look so easy. I like the top though. I figure we will learn how to operate it better once it is installed for good.

I am so appreciative of the effort you and Jonie are putting in. I really like that you keep in the videos the OOPS! It gives great insight on what to watch out for. I’m just starting my build on a1972 all original Bronco and will use your videos to guide me! I heard you mention on your latest “Besttop”install video that you and Jonie will be working on categorizing a sequential or vehicle section library. I would love to see that as it would help me sift thru the many videos you’ve done! Thank you, Zig

Cool! I did some testing with a Bestop super top (soft camper shell) at work. A bugger to install but the fit was great and it looked good once the setup was done.

That is cool. I like it so far. I did do my modification for the snap today and I like it even more now.

I went with rampage soft top on my bronco, the tailgate area on the rampage could’ve been better designed, I added the two piece soft doors with the fiberglass door inserts

Nice! I have seen the Rampage tops but didn't really look too close.
