From what I understand, the scans are not covered by insurance. How does the general population afford to get a scan to know where they are at with their trauma? Especially since so many of us have been compromised in life by that trauma. We need to make it available for all--ESPECIALLY the homeless and less-fortunate, because trauma is EXACTLY why they are where they are at.
He needs to charge less and not just see and show celebrities but dr. Amen has always been about money. His fix are his products. Don’t drink don’t smoke we all know this is not ideal. I think dr amen is Cleo he talk and finds out ur problems by u telling him and then shows you ur brain and say see here it is !
We need health checks on the brain like we do health checks on the heart people should be demanding this is covered by insurance companies. It is a bigger public health issue than COVID and no one knows because they don’t look and they hide symptoms because of the stigma. There is your answer. When his TED talk came out almost 10 years ago everyone one should have been screaming for this issue to be addressed instead they gaslighted like crazy. You can thank the cowards for this not being covered by insurance companies. The reason he has celebrities coming out is because none one listens to doctors, scientist, Researchers but they do listen to celebrities…

I’ve definitely needed to hear that, because of two major traumas when I was a kid. Walked in on my dad trying to commit suicide slitting his throat and wrist bleeding everywhere. And my brother at the age of 15 dying at home... then came the alcohol. So I’m pretty sure my brain is doing similar things to hers. I would love to try that saffron! And the eye movement! I just had my scan done and I have very similar results as Rachel. This has been the single most life-changing thing I have ever done in my life. Here we are a year later, and Rachel's ex-husband died of an overdose (alcohol, cocaine, and fentanyl). Despite previously saying on Oprah that she was an alcoholic, Rachel's social media includes frequent references to her drinking, especially vodka. So much for her investment in brain health.
I wish there was a study that would show people's brain activity in process while someone is saying kind things, cruel things, jokes, etc and then do the same scanning but while an employer or family member coworker or someone else with a history with them says the same things
Shouldn’t he scan the brain first and make a diagnosis rather than get a patient history then look at the scan? If he already knows the traumatic history the scan is unnecessary. He should be able to look at the scan and tell her she has issues. It’s like watching a reading by a psychic. Hopefully no one will be persuaded to pay for this pseudoscience bc of RH.
Not really because he does not know what happen so he is asking but he can see her brain has damage and he is assuming it’s related. Regardless what caused it the only thing that matter is fixing it and feeling better
I would wonder whether this is a special case scenario where they are working together to help publicize this approach, vs what would normally happen at one of his clinics, where maybe they don’t all sit down and do tv episodes out of the intake process lol Compare it to a medical doctor, do they refuse to learn anything about the patient before examining them?
Looking at the brain shows damage yes, he’s a psychiatrist too, so he puts both things together for the patient. It may look a certain way but it’s not
YES! Yes it is! ….’I was a horrible, elitist, narcissist who Plagiarized her entire career because ‘HOLES IN MY BRAIN!’ Plus, just look up BBB - Dr. Amen has several claims of fraudulence against him.
So disappointing that Dr. Amen would give any air time to this fraud. I’m sure “trauma brain” will be her new justification for her plagiarism, hateful attitude, and whatever else is convenient.
