I find it interesting you NEVER mention how opioids, CNS stimulants like Adderal, SSRIs like Zoloft and sleeping medications like Ambien affect your brain. I have a very hard time believing those are not as bad for the brain or worse than moderate alcohol and cannabis use.
I grew up in a home where neither parent drank. I did a very short party girl phase in my mid 20's then after drank only occasionally. Never had a problem with drinking, but since I have been working on CPTSD, being healthier and learning from you about brain health I also decided to just stop drinking. My real problem is sugar 😬
So, since two surgeries foe cancer over a year ago, I am so fatigued I cannot function and become irritable especially after a meal. So I find that drinking water 20 mins beforea meal, then 1/3 can of RedBull right before plating my meal, helps brain work even though blood goes to my stomach. YES - I am getting B12 shots, taking vitamin C, D3, k2, eating a hand-sized piece of liver 2x wk, getting veggies. And drinking Green Tea when I can. But green tea is not practical all of the time for time constraints or no way to heat water/mix stuff. It is one small can per day, sometimes a little more if there are leftovers from the day before (stored in glass, in fridge). There is less caffeine than coffee, and it gives me taurine, which, by elimination in trying other drinks/vitamin combos, is the thing I need. Leads me to think I'm not absorbing or making use of/distributing Vit C along with the B12? Is using Redbull this way for this purpose, damaging? I am desperately cleaning out my late mother's house & it is the only thing making it possible. B12 shots are good, but irregular in their effects

If it looks like all that was for selling your product, which you could have promoted directly, then all the credibility goes for a toss, IMHO.
Hi Doc, I had anxiety and now depression. I feel burning sensation whenever I get irritated or trigger anger. I feel it on top of my head rear side. I can even feel that it has changed the shape of my head from top. I pinch it whenever it irritates me. Sometime it helps but mostly causes more irritation. I have quit caffeine. Anti depressants helps.
💯 hence why I’m not talking to my mother atm for 2 months I’m having a BIG BREAK bc all she comments on is the bad /the negative! Chamomile Tea! I highly suggest it. Drink it’s plain and slow! And take melatonin gummies right after and it will help make you sleepy. If you’re the type that gets sleepy but can’t sleep due to anxiety then I suggest ambien..

Don't give up hope is the best thing! What helps me is to become conscious of being depressed, and then deciding on if I want to continue feeling/thinking about that or not.
The best budgeting thing I've done is take the cash envelope system but do it with checking accounts. I have 8 checking accounts. My husband thinks I'm crazy, but I always have the money I need for bills, daycare, groceries, etc. And I don't share from designated accounts if one category is running low because that would cause a huge domino chaos effect. So there's a significantly less amount of money in the free play lane that I could jack up my monthly requirements (because the only card I carry is that one haha) adhd friends, you can do it!

I know this is an old video, but my first sign of covid is rage/anger and aches and pains in my neck. Then I have terrible nightmares. When I told the ER doc he laughed at me and said “ you can blame it on Covid if you want” 😢
