No worries! I know, it's so hard! I tried to stick with more classic, non-offensive scents as it felt like the safest bet. Exciting, I love buying fragrance oils but I've restricted myself so much.

Hi Ishani, two words... Great Minds! Before I watched this video, I was stalking the Candle Shack site for Oud fragrances as it is one of my favourite scents. Can you recommend a scent for weddings, bridal, valentines day? I thought maybe a quality Rose fragrance mixed with something? Up for any suggestions. Your video is great and really useful.

I am really struggling to make my candles give a scent throw, I have tried so many blends, wicks etc. You know this road well I am sure. Please may I ask which wax you use? Many thanks

Hi Saju, thanks so much! That's very kind, I'm glad you are finding it useful. I use CS2 wax from Candle Shack it is a paraffin blend and found it gives great scent throw. I did try soy, but I struggled, also I did not like the appearance. Which wax are you using?

Just a disclaimer for anyone wanting to make candles this is about candle shack, not Ishani. I bought many of their fragrances, and I and one other person I asked to test the candle scent had a sore throat and found it difficult to breathe from our noses. This is not to say that it will happen to you I just have a sensitive sense to smell. So deffo just test to see how you feel and react with the scents. Hope this helps anyone with sensitivity

Hi Ishani I am struggling with Rcx wax, from candleshack, hardly any hot throw. I also tried c3 wax and no scent throw.

Hey 😊 I had a quick question I'm looking into business banks and reading reviews etc and a lot of them have just bad reviews the same thing I'm noticing with trying to find somewhere I can go to register my domain name. I don't suppose you have any recommendations for business banks you found to be decent or hosting sites you found good ? Planning to sell online as well.

Hey! 🥰 I am using starling bank, it’s really good and easy to use. For hosting I used godaddy, to be honest I didn’t research a whole lot before going with them but it’s been really good. I hope this helps, let me know how you get on ❤️

So I bought my domain from godaddy but the site builder is shopify. I love shopify and would highly recommend it. Have you gotten far with getting set up?

No I used them as is. In the uk mixing scents require an external company to test any hazardous material which can be costly.

@@IshaniParbhoo Ah, I'm glad I saw this, because the American youtubers tend to mix theirs. So most UK candle makers don't mix their fragrance oils as it would be unsafe/illegal? On the subject, are the warning labels that stick on the bottom a standard label found on UK Amazon, candle shack ,etc. Or do I have to tailor make my own warning labels?
