Hi! My name is Ishani , welcome to my channel and thank you so much for stopping by. On my little spot of RU-vid you can find all things candle related. I want to share lots of my experiences to hopefully help you in some way, as well learn from the experience of others.
I used to make videos about 7 years ago whilst at university. As I got a full time job as an engineer I became overwhelmed with my job and lost the confidence to keep uploading videos as I felt I couldn't keep up with the great quality content put up by full-time RU-vidrs. Not continuing with RU-vid has always been a regret of mine as I always enjoyed creating and sharing videos - I'm still an avid watcher! Instead of living with the regret, I thought I'd give making videos another go and have this outlet for my creative side.
Everyone has such busy lives, any time spent watching and commenting on my videos is so appreciated!

New subbie!! I am about to launch in March my luxury candle business! I am wearing ALL the hats girl lol so it's a lot. And the marketing is a whole other world. I am a hands on person, i can make the quality product but Marketing is stressful lol Glad i found this, still researching about it

I'm confused. That second example you talk about, are they not trademark infringing and copyright infringing on your brand? Is that not something you can legally go after them for to remove the collection you said you wished they had taken down but didn't? Just trying to clarify here how trademark and copyright infringement works, because if we can't legally get someone to remove those infringed upon things then what good is it? Thanks!
So unfortunately, unless you trademark an illustration it’s really hard to enforce. I mentioned in the video, the concept was similar but the moon and sun with the face weren’t exactly the same (not as good imo 😂) but overall trying to fight it legally would have cost money which would I would have to reallocate from my business which wasn’t worth it as the brand is smaller and doesn’t have as much reach. So I weighed up the pros and cons. I think it really depends on each individual and their position.
We have the same problem - going to resolve by eventually ordering new labels in the 'correct' orientation to resolve this issue (am building/designing my own label applicator)
I will definitely be subscribing to your channel, your tutorials are very informative and easy to understand it's definitely more detailed than the instructions provided within the kits. I will definitely be sticking to your videos for future reference. nothing video related but you have gorgeous eyebrows they are very full and defined x

hi! would like to know if you have used candle shack lids for 30 cl lotto jar. I just ordered a sample, and they sit very loose on the jar...not quite satisfied? they don't have metal silicon jars in stock. I am confused as was so ready for my production...any ideas??? Congratulations! I just made my first 3 candles tonight. It was so satisfying and I feel like I would like to do it as a side business atm. I am checking the tasks for a candle making business. It looks a bit overwhelming tbh.

Hey, I would love advice on finding a designer for my branding. I've really been struggling with that lately. I don't know who to trust and how to go about finding a designer who specialise in homeware like candles. Would yoh mind sharing the details to your designer and how much it cost?
So retailers are on the other side of Faire looking at small businesses to buy whole sale from and then Faire keeps a percentage of the sale if they pick your products ? Ive never heard of Faire.
