Not a job we do usually but a jobs a job at the end of the day!! Jac jossa called up needing a bit of help with her slightly green pool! Turned out pretty nice actually!!! Holla ya boy
Great videos. It's something I keep watching after a spliff. Cant really explain. This and driveway powerwasher videos are perfect when you are binned 🤷♂️
I had a small pump like that one for that pool. I made sure I had a back-up filter. Even though my pool was small, I got the proper chemicals as well as a pump and I never had issues all summer. I also had a solar cover, heat up the water with the sun. Nice job!
Hello from Texas! I love your videos I started saying “Hollar your girl for the pool work after I do any slight chore around the house! I definitely would love a sweatshirt so H
Can you please advise on the puddle pump? i have an above ground pool and i use a sump pump to drain down every winter, but it leaves a good amount of water left in the pool and a puddle pump looks like it would be perfect. Thanks :)
What's the spray bottle to get rid of the stains? Luckily I've avoided algae in my above ground pool over the winter but would be good to know what chemicals are safe to use for cleaning the vinyl!
I have a bestway pool (4200 gallons) and we just set it up. We put in a 3 inch chlorine tablet to start and then another tablet in a separate floater that helps maintain pH and alkalinity but I feel like we should have done granules and different products because it's been over a week, chlorine tablet no where near dissolved so test is coming back with both low pH and low chlorine. Have no idea where to start 😂
do you reckon it's better to take this kind of pool down for the winter or leave it up? I took mine down last year but where I'd folded it to go away the fabric got to a point and created a small hole in a couple of places. fixed it but wondered about just leaving it up at the end of this year.
I don't know why you would not do above-ground pools more often. Here in the US that's a moneymaker for pool cleaners. there are things here in America that you can buy to make the job easier with above ground pools
They aren’t common, and people buying these cheap pools are likely to screw it up and bin it after it looks like a swamp. The fallout probably costs 50t of what the pool did. They are like £200
Turned out very nice as always! I’m wondering, what can the owners do so they can improve the filtration? Cleaning out the filter every day or every two days seems like a pure faff.
I just put up a pool just like this. Didn't use the pump that came with it. They are a waste of time and money. I put a sand filter on it. Very easy to do.
@@dhunterbk Thank you both. Sounds like other filters are easily attachable. This is comforting to hear because I refuse to be baked again. This summer will be spent in a nice pool 🏊🏼♀️🏊🏼🩱🩳🤿
I have a pool like this but also bought a sand pump instead. I'm having a very hard time keeping it clear. I have two chlorine floaties with one round chlorine tablet in each. Does anyone know what chemicals I need to buy to keep the pool clear? I have put shock in it and it's still greenish and cloudy. 😔
@@cassiecross8520 I’m guessing here, there may be algae in the hose leading from the filter to the pool. Sounds like you’ve got the thing going with the floaties. I’m sorry, I wish I could be more helpful. Hopefully Miles will see this and can respond to you.
When you.... A). drain the bath B). flush the toilet C). drain the washer D). clean the dishes ...where does the water go? Do you filter it and put it back in at the end? lol
What are the best chemicals to use with these pools? Mine was perfect for 1 week with shock and chlorine tablets now it's green after a week or 2 of sun! Running with a sand filter....
Maybe I should have you clean my pool it's a big above ground one it's usually a bitch to clean since most of the stuff on the cover goes back in the pool when we take it off
I’m confused and aggravated! Lol I’ve watched several videos and he’s spraying the liner in all of them and hundreds of people are asking what is he using but still no answer?!?! DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT HES SPRAYING ON THE WALLS TO GET RID OF THE ALGAE?! Thank you!!
@@aixaadame3390 water and bleach mostly bleach. It came off easily and perfectly!! I was shocked how easy it was. Spray a section at a time w the bleach mixture then Get you a pressure washer attachment and attach it to your hose. I started at the top and worked my way down going side to side to the bottom. I did this to my Coleman pool which ofc is a vinyl liner. My walls are white so I was ok w using mostly bleach. Feel free to ask anything else.
You can't clean those filters. once there stinking it never goes away. cheap to replace as well, also sure that pump is the wrong one for that size of pool. Mine is much bigger
@@thepoolguyml Not sure if i just ran them far too long but there was always a funky smell coming off them even after i cleaned them. But then you're the profession :) Ya mad filter sniffer :D
No need for, the main factor is mixing and aeration, the filtration only removes debri that would otherwise transform in to a little sludge on the ground. As long a the water get mixed, aerated and gets chlorin the water will stay clear.
