To calibrate the accelerometer, set it flat while powered on and disarmed. Here is a stick command. (At the same time... Right stick down, left stick down and to the left)
Dustin, i just received my 65x and i maked a small test for hovering and the lipos are hot and motors. On betaflight the settings are stock, and have some vibration on the quad. Not stays real stady. The test was maded indoor
Props out helps washout in turns but can still washout from dives if you zero throttle, my props in got rid of washouts from dives and powerloops completely even you can go zero throttle. I already have tested it.
Dood, I am baby butt spanking new and I have been searching how to set this baby up, yes in January of 2020! Thanks.... mark me subscribed to learn more about quads. I like the way you get to it!! Thanks
Awesome! Good to hear. I've been really into airsoft lately and kinda got the quads on the shelf so to speak. But if there's anything you wanna know just holler.
Dustin - Serious question here. Do you recommend the Beta65X for flying indoors in a house? Does the non-adjustable camera tilt make it too fast for indoors? i wanna buy one, but I'm going to fly it in my house alot during winter.
It's pretty powerful, I couldn't really fly it in my apartment, but it's pretty small. With enough room it's possible, also find a source for a 3d printed camera mount with adjustment. If you move it down a little bit you could fly slower
Dustin, I have BetaFPV and I am trying to bind it to Taranis Q X7. I even bought the external module for taranis. I am not sure what I need to bind this thing. Or how to even turn the drone on!? Can you do a short video of binding and flying step by step for noobs like me?
That's a great idea. To my understanding a throttle curve doesn't actually reduce throttle it just makes a less responsive throttle through the middle of the stick. Similar to using expo. However, I know you can see up pid and rate profiles 1,2,3 And easily access the osd menu using smart audio to switch between the three profiles. So you could set up profile 2 with lower rates and use that for indoors.
@@ryanp6639 so what I would try is (assuming you run similar rates to what I run, from the set up video) I would try reducing super rate from 80 to 60 And raising expo from 20 to 30 For a baseline. Then see how it feels.
Dustin Bailey ok cool one more thing. Me and my friend both have one and the problem is that the vtx channel resets every time it is unplugged, how do I fix that?
