Beta hCG follow up after methotrexate for Ectopic Pregnancy 

Dear Dr.Parikshit, excellent talk. You have cleared my doubts about medical Management of ectopic pregnancy. It was really very helpful. Specially the "grey" period where as a Obstetrician, we are also confused and feel that medical management has faild. After the fifth week, we discovered that my wife had an ectopic pregnancy. We found this out when checking the ultrasound, and she immediately rushed to the hospital in an emergency to receive medical advice from a doctor because the HCg 6000 Level indicated that the first option was the best. I allowed her to go with the dose of methotrexate injection after first giving medicine and then surgery. The HCG level reached 14,890 after 4 days and dropped to 9,900 after 8days,
