Thank you RCnerd! Building my 1st DIY quad and setting up the drivers, etc to connect to & flash my FC firmware has been a pain up until I found this video.
Rcnerd74 minei cant STM 32 Virtual Comm Port. im trying to plug in the radiomaster tx12 , i put in boot mode then connect to pc , and zadig only show radiomaster tx12 , but not the STM 32 Virtual Comm Port, so i cant connect to the betaflight , any thouhts ? already installed all the drivers twice
Did you try to connect your TX12 transmitter to the computer? That won't work. You have to connect your FC of your drone directly to the USB port of your computer. And you need to push the boot button of the FC while connecting it to the computer. When connected, you can release the boot button.
Do you have another FC to test the connection with? If yes, try this. If this works, it is an issue on your Naze32. If you followed the tutorial in the video, it should work with Betaflight. To be honest I am not sure if Naze32 works on Betaflight. On Cleanflight, it should. I recommend to change to a new FC.
Did you push the boot button on your FC while connecting it to your computer by USB? Only a red LED should light up in the FC if you are in bootloader mode.
installed the STM32 Virtual COM Port Driver not apear in device mange. operation system win10. but I can see DFU mod in betaflight which sucess to install the bootload
@@RCnerd74 the com3 do not appear in the betaflight. can't join the betafight. I have the controller taranis 9dx plus and windows 10, do I need anything else to install the betaflight? may be something else missing.
@@yonghuang6002 If you have installed all drivers and zadig tool exactly like shown in my video, you don't need anything else to make it work. Did you try more than one FC? Perhaps it can also be an issue with your FC. Betaflight shows COM3 or COM6 or so as soon as you connect the FC to a USB port of your computer. No matter what transmitter you have.
what exactly did you do at 9:43 , I hear a clicking sound only but can not tell if that was reconnecting the FC or something else...please let me know, thx
for both the CP210x and STM VCP drivers...it would finish like right after it started....it says its downloaded but i think its just windows 10 on a laptop. Nothing shows up in the Device manager too. Both seen and hidden. any advice?
i also use windows 10 on two laptops. with no issues. did you already check in which folder it puts the downloaded files? perhaps they are not in the expected folder... just check this and try to download them into the "downloads" folder... wish you success...
I went in zadig to download a driver for my Gamecube controller device and i accidentally installed different drivers for my keyboard and now only a couple keys work i don't know how to fix it please help.
Did everything work during the driver and Zadig installation? If yes, try different USB ports on your PC. If you have more than one FC, try another FC.
@@RCnerd74 yes, after 4 FC, 2 laptops, and 2 cables....the third cable worked. I didnt realize some cables are power only and some are data enabled....now everything is good. Thanks for the response.
Hi there, please help me.. I did everything as you said in the video. Not working at all .. :((((.. I'm using Windows 10 as well.. try every different ports and cables. Is there any other way else?
@@RCnerd74 Thanks but I only have one FC. I bought the iflight Bumblebee v2 bundled with DJI fpv system. I can’t even arm the drone and can’t even connect to betaflight. It’s super frustating
@@GagGuru5 Try to get a feedback from someone who owns the Bumblebee V3 like Drone Camps RC. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-wTg_GmwXYA8.html Perhaps he had the same issue and solved it somehow. What does betaflight show in the upper right corner when you plugin the FC on a USB port? COM1 2 3 or something or still "MANUAL"?
@@RCnerd74 I’ll have a look! cheers mate in the betaflight shows only COM 1, 2 & Manual options. I can see in the device manager when i connected the usb to my pc but it shows “USB Mass Storage” not STM32.
@@RCnerd74 I forgot about that. Now I see the STM32 Boothloader there, but if I want to connect the drone to betaflight it doesn't work, because when I have selected Manual selection it will write me Failed to open serial port and when I have selected DFU and click on flash firmware I will see USB device successfully closed, I don't know what to do with it.
@@RCnerd74 I did it exactly according to your video, but when I have DFU selected and I put the flash firmware, I will see the USB device successfully closed at the top left and the firmware will not update.
If you read in the ST site BEFORE you download or install you will see they explicitly state that this is ONLY FOR WINDOWS 7 & 8 and will not fit WINDOWS 10. (the last line before the Key Features)
@@PeterPan-um5zj I have no idea about binding Flysky. Try this ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-XOSg17708XA.html or search for help in forums...
Why is it that I'm the only one in all these videos that the STSW-STM32102 Software package never wants to download or some other binding shit problem? I'm new to this hobby and I've spent more than a thousand on this new hobby including computer and I'm about to throw it all in the trash! Am I really this retarded? Two months already and not a single qwad in the air.😡 Download this, update that, didnt know it was going to be such a hassle, I should just get the tinyhawk RTF kit again and call it quits.
Did you get the email for downloading the STM driver? What step does not work like i showed it in my video? And what transmitter and rc receiver do you have binding problems with?
