I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on Sports trading life. I know this guy 'Ben Michaels' is ultimately trying to sell his courses but he does seem to produce some interesting and informative videos. just curious as to what you think of him.
Great video, you're doing good work exposing these people. I have to watch their videos on 1.75 speed cos there's so much waffle. They are good for unintentional comedy value though! There's absolutely no way either of them are pro traders. They both make so many basic errors throughout their videos and they just don't think like pro traders. They always encourage people to comment so, for a while, I used to entertain myself by sometimes posting on their videos to point out their mistakes. They now have me blocked so that, even if I comment, only I can see it - it won't be visible to other commenters. So much for their channel being an open and transparent forum!! It's a thing of beauty seeing scammers who prey on the most gullible and desperate people being exposed for what they are. Keep it up!
I've always taken their videos with a massive pinch of salt....and I haven't watched many of them. I'd love you to do a video like this on Ben Michaels who runs sports trading life. On another note I'd love to see more upside down taxi videos/tutorials....I absolutely love that system. Thanks for the above video and for exposing the scam.
Agree. Ben at sports trading life is ripe for a video. He doesnt allow comments on his videos due to the abuse he gets now and charges 400 quid plus for a glorified spreadsheet. Scammer all day long
Great video gents. Was briefly a trial member and their horse racing system builder has to be seen to believed. One of the worst bits of stats software i've ever seen. And they're chargin double the cost of their competitors too.. madness. Anyway i've had a skinful so i'll leave it there
Couldn't give a hoot whether they're in it for the software money or not - as I'm not interested in their moral character. The real question - as with all online trading and betting punditry - is do the strategies they advise make a profit or a loss. Apart from the nugget about the paltry £50 in RC's account (which I'd noticed already in the comments under RC's recent vid) I'm none the wiser after watching this to be honest.
In my earlier days of researching sports trading I came across BTC and always had concerns when someone states they want to help people improve, yet you have to help them increase their bank balance in order to improve. I'm not rocket scientist, but when words and actions don't meet, then always best to avoid. I did make contact with them to express that concern, to which I received a reply from the one who is known as Ryan and he said that it costs them that much to keep the software moving ....... lol, so I decided to make my own and learn along the way. Great clip and evidently easy to expose them for what they are
Ben does actually produce some good free videos which are educational, although his courses are expensive and arguably unnecessary. However his trading simulator is really excellent. I've developed winning strategies with this and have paid back the price many times over.
Haha, those videos with the girls on the thumbnail and the comments turned off? When Ben backs something his business partner is in the background laying it. Makes for a good video to help sell his course.
Having watched all of this video and been a long term subscriber to BTC on RU-vid and podcasts, also having been a member for a short while, Im in 2 minds about this video. I do agree they have really pushed the marketing more recently but Martins podcasts and some of their videos do have golden nuggets of info and take away information. I think they haven’t been portrayed entirely fairly in the compilation clips you guys have chosen to put in, you’ve essentially taken the small clips that basically portray them as having no idea what they are talking about when in reality I believe they do. I do agree however that I’m not entirely sure Ryan is as pro as he says he is but I refuse to believe they know nothing and am purely in it for the money, I do believe they are trying to help people but at a huge cost, which is not worth the money they are asking for at the moment. The software they use basically has profitable filters and will find you games at the click of a button, however I prefer to find my own selections without paying a massive fee. I have since switched my membership to goal profits and I’m very happy with the software, in play stats and what kevin and co are trying to achieve. It’s also much cheaper than BTC. I did find this video enlightening though, particularly the ‘office address’ and Ryan’s Betfair balance so good work there guys. This was certainly an interesting video.
I knew they were crooks long ago. i had 1 week left on my sub and they messaged me as a reminder to renew, i told them i wont renew and they kicked me out of the group immediately, even tho i still have a week left on my sub.
what do you think of Sports Trading Life videos seems to be a lot of mystrey round those trading vids being a scam I quite enjoy watching them and they 1st got me into trading tennis but I would not pay the crazy amounts for software he offers
I did watch some of the BTC videos. I was hoping to learn something useful. I soon gave up as I was just wasting my time and that Ryan seemed to have some kind of mental health problem and kept on talking total rubbish. After watching your video, I understand the company is just out to scam people.

I had to use a VPN to watch this video as it's blocked in the UK due to something to do with a defamation issue. I signed up to BTC for month late last year. It seemed ok but went a little bit over my head. The forum was very quite and I though it was a bit pricey. It seems like Ryan has interests outside of trading mainly involving property. That doesn't necessarily mean he isn't a trader in my mind. Adam is the IT guy who is also a trader apparently. Martin seems like the real deal, and doesn't have anything else going on other than trading and making RU-vid videos. I'd be interested to know what horse racing software you'd recommend. Cheers 👍
They are there to make money ,didn't get suckered in to pay for anything. They cleverly recycle systems and strategies from other you tube vids and put a spin on them nothing original

Yeah for some reason I didnt think something was quite right , look if someone was such a successful trader youd be doing most of your trading from the canary islands or somewhere exotic, thats what always stands out for me, these guys dont even have any kind of tan!! People Like Peter Webb and Caan do show their success off and look the real deal, ok they do come out with some valid points but really you can get that info for free on sites like footy stats or the race advisor.
They have some really bad and some decent strategies... They have a over 1.5 split goal strategy that has worked well, backing over 1.5 goals if no goal at 30 minutes. The lay the draw is terrible though.
I have tested the split stake o1.5 strategy and haven't been able to make it work. The win/lose ratio isn't great. Compare that to the TTM second half overs strategy which is pure gold.

Guys I love your videos, but please for the love of everything.... STOP with the background music the whole time... Use it at points of interest and sparsely at least you've turned it down a bit but..... Anyway great work I remember exposing these guys a long time ago and really being taken to town by them and their fanboys. They eventually deleted the comment though when my comment gained support.
I fell off my toilet laughing on how to DOB, Anyone who wants to sell you a package on trading betfair is only in it for themselves, I have followed you guys for over a year on RU-vid and Discord, and I make money out of trading, with your help and someother youtubers and the people who give the best advice most of the time are the ones who enjoy trading.
I dont think this is an "honest" review. It feels like a particularly personal attack on Ryan Carruthers. Their strategy building stat software is superior to anything that is on your site and is probably worth the subscription on its own. I notice in this video how you quickly glossed over that. Like all sports trading advisers some of their strategies work and others dont, an area that they've always been pretty up front about. I certainly have no affiliation with BTC for the record. FWIW I've also found your video content to be very good. This one however is below the belt .
Diffrent horses for different courses. I don't think it is worth it at all. We don't provide software because we don't charge. I think you glossed over the fact this video was about them being a software company and not pro traders. This comment only strengthens my point in the video. It was an honest review and is my opinion, which I said in the second sentence of the video.
You do the same thing. I've watched a few of your vids. Just regurgitating all the trropes that have been around for years. Silly names for systems , pictures of open mouthed shocked head shots , using the word " truth " etc , etc. Maybe just concentrate on building your own business instead of taking a pop at others.
