Hi Beth, thanks for this yummy recipe. Made them for today's gathering and everyone enjoyed. Instead of cinnamon, I've change to 1 teaspoon of coco powder. Turn out great.

Ah yes great question! You can rinse it out with a little warm water and soap, and then every so often you can place a little olive oil or coconut oil on a cloth and rub it into the wood to condition it :)

How can i substitute the espresso powder step for freshly brewed espresso from my Bialetti Moka? I think that i'm just gonna substitute the liquid (diluted espresso p.) part of the mixture and add the espresso instead. Is this correct?

Cannot believe I used low cal baking sugar (Splenda) instead of sugar!! Terrible! Heavy, nasty taste, and they looked terrible...in the trash they go!! Tomorrow I will follow directions!! Looks delicious.
hi. I want to try your recipe since I really love coffee and mocha flavors. If I would like to add walnuts instead of choco chips, will I add it in the batter and then sprinkle some walnuts on top? or just on top of the batter? Thank you
These were so yummy! but I made a vegan version of this by simply replacing the egg with a flax egg and milk with almond milk. I know this is not a vegan channel but would love to see you do some vegan desserts!

I ca't wait to get my December box already! I made these this morning! I used oat flour instead of all purpose because I wanted to avoid the gluten and I also didn't have any on hand.... They are still pretty decent! Also used fresh espresso :-) So yummy, thanks! Love you!

I had a question, can you purchase the boxes for a year or is it just month to month? I’m waiting to sign up for them until I get back from boot camp in a few months and get set up where ever my husband and I get deployed. Ssoo exited 😄😄 keep them coming
Right now it's just every other month. So on 11/8 the sales cycle will open back up for subscribers to join starting with the Feb Box and then it will arrive every other month. And sure wait until you are settled and then sign up :) . It's a fun way to enjoy the channel, especially if you like to cook and entertain as you'll have a lot of little goodies to help with that :)

OMG!!! After two years I found your recipe today and couldn't wait to come home and make it the only thing I was missing was the chocolate chips so I rushed to the store after work to buy them and at 8 I was baking them. LOL! Oh I'm so glad they were such a hit! These are truly one of my favorite muffins! So flavorful, moist and delicious! And I glad you went the extra mile to get the chips ha! I think they just add that little extra something :) Ha!
Not if you get the mini chips :). that's the secret! It's such a great flavor combination against the coffee :) But you could also add them to the top just before baking and that way you could leave some without to see which you like better :) Hope you enjoy!
@@mushroomuhm i didn't think the chips took any coffee flavor away. All i know is that they were amazing. I had to put them away because my kids were eating them away like if they were on a fasting diet.

Ah yes reg espresso won't have the flavor as the instant espresso powder, the instant is horrible to drink ha! But great for baking, it's just a much more pronounced flavor :)
I did this muffins and they are the best ever. just now i made two bach, one for tomorro morning for the familiy and another one for my brother in law and his family who lives in our same building. The firts time was in december yo giveaway to my sisters. they are great
I love love this recipe! So i made a second batch with walnuts and still turned out really great! I used MCT oil instead of regular cooking oil so i am not sure if that made any difference. A recipe for keeps! 😊

Sure you could do that too, but maybe use just a bit of vegetable oil for the moisture. Oil is a pure fat and will make your muffins a bit more moist than all butter, which has milk solids in it and can weigh your muffins down. Hope you enjoy them!
