Well finfilms, you forgot to mention Todd Howard said the show will be cannon with the game series universe. So it's putting quite a heavy expectation on a already tense fan base. I'm personly glad as a fan that they aren't trying to copy & paste any one particular game story. Especially that's where it always goes wrong, because the show developers always want to take heavy artistic licenses and change key story moments drasticly. And it's never for good reasons. Just look what happened to The Expance series. They rewrote that book series so badly that they even completely changed all the characters personalities. Heck barely any of the original story existed when they were done. They couldn't even use the excuse of needing to adapt from book to visual media. Small changes or add ins aren't bad. But the producers always want to do big changes that that makes no sense other to granstand their "tallent."

I think they'll nail the vibe and look of FallOut. I don't have high hopes for it being an engaging story though.

As someone on the edges of the Fallout fandom, Il looking forward to this. The only other game Ive ever played was 76 for a bit but I stopped playing cuz I could never get together with friends to play due to scheduling. Also, I think what fans seem to forget is that the Studios job is to make shows that appeal to an audience that is is wider than the fanbase. IM not immersed in like the Halo universe lore but I really do like the tv show. Rings of Power I enjoy for its insane world. Its not perfect but as someone who was involved making Star Trek fan films for over a decade, "true fans" are the worst people to try and please. They never seem happy enough.
