Hold it right there! Power rangers and ultraman are NOT adaptations of previously animated works. They're part of a culture of live action shows of super powered indaviduals with giant robots/monsters. They're known as super sentai. A culture of live action movies and shows spawned from the backbones of things like godzilla. If anything they got animated adaptations of them, and not the other way around. The super sentai culture is well over 40 years old. Ever heard of Daitetsujin 17, or known as Brain 17 here in the USA? That is one of the earliest examples of super sentai shows that exists. I suggest you go back and do your research on it before lumping it into a group it doesn't belong inn. they have made live action adaptations of animated works before like Cutey Honey for example. So they certainly have plenty of years experience doing them.
