This really made me smile to see all of these beautiful black young women. I was the darkest majorette in our high school band in 1964. It wasn't popular to be dark back then👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

When the choir starts singing it sounds amazingly identical to African choir voices, even in a different land and culture our people when reaching a certain vibration can suddenly reawaken our inner African spirit without even realizing it and suddenly become the same people as the Africans of today, some think we have become different to them, but we're still them deep down and capable of the same spiritual wonders that they create, whether it be art, music, or any form of creativity.

Oh shit see this is why I love black schools. Im a SU graduate and love the Dolls. I also love the Stingettes, Jsettes and the Pasionettes, also really all of the other bands and dancers. Each one brings something new to the table and expresses black culture in its on way. I may put the Dolls and SU band above the rest but I respect the hell out of everybody else. 14k brought that fire with this and really took it to another level.

This is a band and they're more than a band they're an orchestra it's almost a symphony and they're playing a song from The dirty South and look how everybody is moving in synchronicity with the song the tempo and the timing is incredible this is a musical masterpiece in my opinion the video production was simple but the audio production is incredible

Their clarity and abilty to cut off is the small things that separates them from the rest of the bands out their. one of the most consistent programs out there, I have yet to see a bad or down year from them.

The Difference Is Clear, FAMU has a cleaner sound, you can't even hear the woodwinds when Bethune plays. It's a thing called "BALANCE"!

+Deldrick Grimes I think they both sound rough...but I still like it. I guess I'm just used to watching/listening to drum corps in Drum Corps International. Like The Blue Devils and The Cavaliers. To me though it all sounds really bold. Like they're all just blaring the notes...there is no subtlety to really make any parts stand out. I enjoy it though...it's fun and they look like they're having fun. :) I used to march and play in bands too. I think if someone wants to understand what I mean they should look up one of the DCI shows...maybe by one of the two groups I suggested. One of my favorite parts really was the singing...that was really good.
