I was once a single mother after a horrific divorce, and I understand EXACTLY what you're saying. Don't let anyone take your kind regard and muddle it w/ their own bullshii. Before I remarried, that was the hardest thing I ever had to do raising children alone (we don't all have mamas/ grandparents to just dump our children on, so some women really are doing it all alone with no support). Unfortunately. Mothers holding it down alone make up a larger number of mothers doing it in two parent households now, and certainly outnumber the small percentage of men who are single parents, so mother's day alone may not be enough. Thank you for also acknowledging them having to supplement duties, income, and time a father should be occupying as well on father's day. The effort they put into vetting father figures/ mentors for their children. The second job they have to work... They're women and not men or fathers despite having to take on the father's responsibilities- and some of us appreciate the understanding and props. Thank you💖✨️.
