I saw Bette perform this live. It was the most moving theatrical moment I've ever experienced. What we don't see in this video is the wacky prior scene, where every underdog in the world is on stage singing We Are the World. That scene ends with an explosion of confetti. The theater goes dark. Bette rises on stage and the celebratory confetti turns to rain. Sublime. Thanks for posting.
