Wow. She has never looked prettier than in this interview!! And her hair was fabulous. Of course, she was interesting also, but I kept thinking how gorgeous she looked. Bright and witty woman.

She kinda reminds me of Angie Bowie. Doesn't really lookalike but there's something with her mannerism that makes me think of Angie 😊

Betty midler is ten times prettier than Angie Bowie and More talented

@@ttbb7342 idk very much about what angie has done. I know she wrote a book and some other assorted lunatics. I'm mostly interested In listening to her life with Bowie. Midler is of cause a bigger star and she's great in anything she does. But I wouldn't go so far to say that she's 10 times prettier... I think angie looked much better when she was younger

That's cool what she says' about paying proper homage to black musicians, and I'm all about that, but if believe me Muddy Waters, Bo Diddley, Howling Wolf, or any of the other greats were here and you asked them they would say they were the one's that owed a debt of graditude to Mick and the Stones, as well as other English acts for bringing their music to mainstream America in the 60s. I know the real debt should be to the source, but the source was never getting it's due $$ until the British Invasion. Just how it was.
@cowboysfan782008
@cowboysfan782008 5 лет назад
They did care and I've seen numerous interviews with Muddy Waters and others talking about how the young, white brits brought their music back to life and their albums started selling at 10x the rate they had been because so many ppl wanted to go to the source. Zep did a few Willie Dixon songs and his albums started selling. Not saying they ever wanted to be Michael Jackson but their whole genre took off because of what was going on in England in the 60s and most benefited from it.

Speaking of Zep, their manager Peter Grant was the first to say "F U" to the concert promoters, we want this percentage of the gate or we don't play, and doing that changed everything in the artists favor, where previously the concert promoters were taking most of the proceeds of the ticket sales. Peter Grant was the man!

It's all about the business not anything else......I am such a Fan of privacy that it would ruin everything if you were anything other that a fan.She was probably so flattered to just listen to the conversation that alone had to be amazing...I have gone to alot of concerts but never once did I try to speak to anyone ...I am a people watcher not so much on talking..I did once try to take a picture at the Voodoo Lounge Tour of the Band but I couldn't get a clear view..But I did enjoy the concert in Oakland,California in 1993 or was it 94 ...I am getting older to...Lol.
