Weighted vests are a proven way to exercise easily and to build bone mass and increase muscle strength. Several studies have produced favorable results - the largest and longest was in Oregon where a significant improvement in hip BMD in a group of women with an average age of 66 was noted after 5 years of a regimen including jumping and “resistance” exercises using weighted vests.

everybody this is Susan here at the
Center for better bones today I'm with
our fitness expert Gina and we're really
excited to tell you about our new better
bones exercise vest you know I've been
recommending weighted vest and
personally using weighted vests for many
years they build bone strength they
increase balance and they definitely
build muscular strength all in less time
so I accomplished much more with less
effort but we now have a new vest a
terrific new vest that is more elegant
more trim actually it's again the one
size fits all best that adjusts it
adjusting the straps it adjusts with a
wonderful zipper that makes it easy to
take on and off Gina's gonna show you
that in a second if Gina turns around we
see they're also adjusted the back so
it's a really easy to use vest very
elegant easy to clean much more stylish
than other vest and again made
specifically for women so there's no
weights on the breast how does the new
vest feel Gina it feels really good I'm
very comfortable easy to put on that's
real important easy to put on excellent
and show the zip and it zips right up
yeah that's right so you can zip it once
you get it fit to your size you can zip
it up and you're set to go use a vest
you'll build more strength you'll build
more bone have a great new year
